Without this foundation, isolated systems emerge that cannot work together. 1⃣ Why Open Systems Are Essential I believe it is crucial that this development does not end up controlled by a few closed platforms. That would concentrate power, limit transparency and turn data ownership into a black box. Open systems are essential. Shared standards, clear rules, transparent data flows and broad participation make the emerging machine economy fairer. 2⃣ An Open and Interoperable Machine Economy This is why initiatives like Intercognitive are so relevant. Members like Auki, peaq, GEODNET, Tashi Network and Mawari contribute to creating global standards that help machines see, move and operate safely in the physical world using digital identities, decentralized maps and peer-to-peer payments. This forms the basis of an open and interoperable machine economy.
