Cop falls onto a bear as officers try to catch it falling out of a tree in a residential neighborhood in Arizona. The Sahuarita Police Department responded to calls about a bear climbing a tree in Rancho Sahuarita. Arizona Fish and Game assisted the officers and shot the bear with a tranquilizer gun, successfully putting the bear to sleep. While trying to catch the sleeping bear as it fell from the tree with a tarp, one officer fell forward and landed on top of it. Police say the bear was safely moved to a different area.

A baby bear left vacationers stunned after it stole a trash can from their cabin in Sevierville, Tennessee, on Aug. 15. Video shows the cub carrying the bin along the balcony railing before climbing down and dragging it into the woods. Dottie Staxx, who took the video, said the bear was shy at first but came closer to the cabin when it smelled her group’s breakfast food. “At first I was scared of it, but the bear was not aggressive and only wanted food,” she said. In the video, a voice comments that the bear is part of a family “out terrorizing the town.”
