Why would I ever use Sol High or Extra High when there's Astra Low, which would be about the same cost as Sol High, but way better? Terra Medium is more reasonable, but I guess if you would prefer that lineup, you could do it. I just wish it were customizable.

You don't understand. The issue isn't that I can't access any model I want. The issue is their default slider is pretty good, just not exactly the way I want, and I want to be able to customize it.

I bet you didn't know that by default Codex only runs max 3 subagents concurrently. That's not ambitious enough for Astra. OpenAI tested Astra with up to 64 subagents. Copy this into your config.toml: [agents] max_concurrent_threads_per_session = 64 Astra orchestrating 64 Luna subagents in parallel is a sight to behold!

I tap out, I'm switching my daily driver to Low in GPT-6 Astra. - Similar performance as GPT 5.6 Sol max - Lower cost than GPT 5.6 Sol max - Iterate faster than GPT 5.6 Sol max - low thinking produces result faster (don't need 2x speed anymore) Very underrated imo. I continue to be impressed with Astra. I made bobo (the podcast host) with clay then took pictures of him and uploaded it to astra. It turned 3 images into a 3d model, which it then rigged and animated. Super cool tech!

After few minutes it crafted 3,295 fully editable detailed objects with beautiful geometry. You can obviously tell it how detailed or simplified you want it. Go build your own transport tycoon 😎

Instead of choosing between a library of existing LUTs, I can literally describe the color I want: “Dark cinematic shadows, muted highlights, warm skin tones.” Astra → custom .cube → CapCut PC. Then I can see the result on my actual footage and keep adjusting it in the editor. If it’s still not right, I can prompt Astra again and bring in a new version. The same workflow works with .srt files: Astra can generate customized animated subtitle effects, while CapCut PC lets me put the subtitles on the timeline, separate them into tracks, and refine every detail.
