HODGES: Who’s been our enemy for the longest time? Russia. Why don’t we want Ukraine to crush them? This would solve Europe’s main security problem for two or three generations. We benefit when Europe is stable and secure. Importance of allies is something that’s not appreciated in MAGA mentality, or among isolationists in general, who tend to say, “That’s their problem.” No, all of these things are connected. It is our problem. And it’s not just about whether we have enough ships or enough of whatever else we need to carry out our plans. It’s about having allies. And by the way, about half of the intelligence our government uses does not come from American satellites, it comes from allies.

Recently, I heard from a woman in Lethbridge who is currently in her second year of waiting for a double knee replacement. She told me what I’ve been hearing from Albertans all over the province, our Healthcare system is in crisis. Better is possible.
