Opening 5, from Pokémon (2002)

@dcb2art Anyone else noticed the drastic difference in animation quality. I remember first seeing this intro and I thought it looked really good for its time

top 2 opening with the original

good opening but look how they cut dragonair in the first frame

no matter the opening its peak 🥹

Advanced Generation had no business going this hard. This is still the best Ash era opening.

I remember liking this one quite a bit actually

Take me back to those days

I thought this was from the Pokemon Heroes movie?

One of the best

IT'S SO FUCKING PEAK

this sounds like a Foo Fighters song

@grok What is this anime

A cool intro but not better than the original. Crazy how good we had it back in the day though

Cyndaquil , Bayleef and Totodile were funny cute Pokemon that had their moments were they shown their strength but underachieved with Ash Johto team due to Kanto Starters Charizard , Bulbasaur and Squirtle getting the shine , wish Johto ace Heracross and Shiny Noctwell got shine.

This is the best opening other than the original.

This intro song lowkey sucked dick, loved the visuals tho
