Opening night, 1995.

Fated to be rivals from the very first game.

My 10 year old self started falling in love this day.

i was at this game!

They opened against the @DetroitRedWings ? Crazy.

I kinda like the black helmet white jersey look. even though it only lasted a few games

I remember Krupp hyperextending his knee that game, being out all season, then scoring the game winner in 3OT vs Florida for the cup.

When the @NHL ruled... Today, not so much

Is there a recording of the full game? @citchmook

I have it somewhere in my archive, I'll have to locate.

Bro, could you upload it to some social network (YouTube, Facebook, or something) and share the link? If there's a recording, of course. I can't find him on any social media platform. I really want to see this first-ever Avalanche match. Regards. @citchmook

Roy wasn’t in net?

Funny how Uwe Krupp was involved in the opening goal of the season and stanley cup winner.
