Such an amazing young woman, so much poise and levelheadedness for her age. She is a true role model for our youth.

truly it seems some days like she is the only goddamned adult in this league, up to and including Engelbert

She’s always taking the blame, being the bigger person. Her class is second to none

Not sure what else she could have said there. If everyone else involved had that level of common sense this would have been behind them a week ago. If cc thinks her team has her back than fine - who knows maybe they do privately but they have not backed her in anyway that you would expect a superstar player to be backed publicly for whatever reason. I wish her well and root for her always.

How is the 24 year old the one who makes the perfectly balanced statement? She just amazes me.

Does any of else in the @WNBA take Media training, including the Coaches. This is why @CaitlinClark22 makes big money speaking.

This league doesn’t deserve her. She killed this. 🥺❤️‍🩹

Caitlin, you are delusional if you think that your coach that your front office and that franchise sticks up for you, they have not stick up for you one single time until it got so bad they had no choice and that’s exactly what happened. She was reading off a script she didn’t care that she got injured. She was yelling at you on the floor to get back on defense when you were hurt on the floor because you got needing to groin and punched in the neck and then the girl tried to stop on you on top of it

This has been the best interview by far since the incident by anyone in the league. She always has been so professional yet honest about how she feels. Not to mention she has never made herself the victim or put down other players.

My response to CC; You are a Peace Maker because, as you said, you were "raised that way." You are also a humble young woman that doesn't enjoy being the center of attention by millions of friends, family and fans around the World. The BIG outcry from Social Media cannot be bridled and will have to 'play out' until real changes occur. Your fans, of which I am one, love you and are not going to 'stand down' because we are going to STOMP and SHOUT until people are held accountable and the "League does a better job of protecting people" (i.e. YOU)! Try to focus on getting well and stay in the shelter of those who love you. A player who commits Dirty Fouls should be given her Pink Slip (removed permanently)

She's referring to this article from The Athletic. They've had multiple pieces like this so far this year.

Thank you for 1. Posting the extended clip. 2. Keeping it 100 and being some of the few media members to consistently not focus on negativity.

This is sad and painful to watch. CC GET OUT OF THIS LEAGUE AND GO TO EUROPE WHERE YOU WILL BE APPRECIATED.

She sounds more like a coach than her actual coach, and they hate her for it.

@caitscroptop Perhaps someone can ask her about her fans and the enjoyment/frustration we feel seeing biased officials, progressive politics and accusations that we paying fans are “racist”. It’s a business - focus on your customers. When will the Fever defend us?

So mature. Glad she opened with the fact that it was a flagrant foul altho I’d like to see her standup for herself more vs apologize. In the end tho winning a championship will be the ultimate revenge.

She's learning to walk a thin line. Like any DEI woke corporation shut your employees down from free speech. Don't ever say we have a constitutional republic and freedom. We don't. Imho. We are controlled by our paychecks to survive .

@CLRKSOURCE They talked about it. They talked about how much better the team is without you like they do every single time. They win anything without you. It’s a biased media. I always has been always will be.

She's got such a great attitude. No matter the story line, if it involves Caitlin Clark it will be talked about, worldwide. It's part of the phenomenon that comes with being as famous as she is, ask Serena Williams and many others who have been through the same. Unfortunately for her, it won't change. The media, which lacks integrity these days, will take advantage of her fame to 'bend the information any way they want' for a story and clicks. That's where we are in this Caitlin Clark era. On the flip side of it, many of us, millions, are enjoying women's basketball and watching the WNBA that were not 5 years ago.

I don’t think this is hyperbole when I say this BUT she might have been the most mature the last 3 years of all this. On the court, can be a loose cannon but overall, people trying to get paid talking about her even if they are cherry picking or directly going at her for the sake of their plight and platform. I do think that most people wouldn’t act and sound how they are if they met her. That’s with most athletes though.

Stood up for herself, called out the media and shed light on issues that’s plaguing the league all with class. Beautiful execution
