Opening up a geode with water inside 😮

Geodes are porous. Water seeps in and out. The water in here probably was not "millions of years old." That's how they form: water flows in and brings minerals, then flows out and takes other minerals. This creates the hollow pocket with pretty gems and shit inside. The water, straight up, could have been like ten years old. Or six months old.

There has to be million year old viruses in there

$5 bucks if you drink it

Has anyone ever recorded looking at water from a sealed geode? I wonder what is in it.

You can dig your own geode at Keokuk Iowa's Geode-fest 09/26/25 – 09/28/25 KEOKUK, IA Geode Fest / First Christian Church / 3476 Main St. Coordinated by the Keokuk Area Convention & Tourism Bureau For information, call (319) 524-5599

If you open a geode and find water inside, you've discovered something pretty special! Some geodes trap ancient water during their formation, meaning the liquid inside could be millions of years old. However, be cautious—this water might contain dissolved minerals or gases, and it’s

Drink it!
