Anyone recognise this woman? Yesterday at 5:10pm in Humberstone park in Leicester, England, whilst taking my family’s dogs for a walk, I was subject to what the police have called a racist attack, whilst I was with my little sister During this attack, an old lady - who thought her age gave her a free pass to be a vile bigot - made racist remarks about my origins, hit me to try and stop me from recording her antics, and shoved me in the chest. This started over a disagreement about our dogs I could sense she was getting agitated, and I had no interest in shouting at a pensioner, so I told her to go her way and we’ll go our way She argued back and proceeded to call me indecent “You’re not decent” I could sense subtle undertones of racism in the way she said this, but wanted confirmation before jumping to conclusions, so I probed her and asked “What do you mean by that?” She replied: “you’re not decent, none of you are, you’re not decent, just like the rest of them” At this point I’m thinking “i know exactly what sort of Facebook posts you’re liking and who you’re gonna vote for” So i probe again, “what do you mean by that?” she says “like the rest of you, *where you come from*” I wasn’t able to record these initial racist remarks as I don’t exactly expect to be racially abused when taking the 2 family dogs for a walk, so I didn’t have the camera rolling at the time I was actually just going to leave the park at that point, but thought to myself “Naah you can’t let them get away with this” people should not just be able to racially abuse you in public and go back home to their beans on toast and coronation street. I tell her to leave my sister out of it if she has a problem with me, because my sister was crying, she was still in her school uniform and had no involvement. She proceeds to mock my sister for crying I then told the woman “she’s just a child, leave her alone” The woman responds “and what about me? Leave me alone, I’m an old woman, you have no respect for the elderly” I tell her that if she wants to be respected she should be respectful, and that being old doesn’t give her a free pass to be racist or to hit people She then says oh of course you’re gonna play the racism card, that’s all you people ever do I said it’s not playing the racism card if you’re actually being racist There were witnesses to this, but at the time my concern was getting my sister home so I didn’t think to stop and ask the people in the park I have had my initial consultation/interview with the police I know most English people are lovely, half my family are white and English after all, but these racists are getting too comfortable with and open about their hatred of people who are a couple shades too dark for their liking. This is one of my most Beautiful memories & videos I have of Freya 🌹 Freya is very rarely part of my life on trips with me or her older siblings. it’s kinda like a double life I live….it’s always been painful and still to this day & forever will cause us all sadness & trauma. So many reasons, NHS Forth Valley will not allow Freya her regular staff to go further than the healthboard area where we live to look after her, also nowhere is accessible enough to accommodate Freya with all her medical needs for any length of time longer than a few hours unless it is hospital, hospice or school. Freya is unable to travel any longer than half an hour unless she is in an Scottish Ambulance This particular video was filmed on a trip I went with my older daughter, my friend and her daughters to The Holy Island of Lindisfarne Lindisfarne Castle about 8 years ago. We struggled as always not having Freya with us especially when we were in the beautiful village garden, it just came alive with birdsong, bees 🐝 and the soft breeze whistling through the trees/shrubs along with the scent of the petals. So we brought the garden home to Freya ♥️ her reaction was so Beautiful, her happiness gave me a feeling of peace 🌸 🦅 🌳 💨 #palliativecare #hospitalathome

If you're an Amazon India customer, take 2 mins to read this if your money is dear to you. TLDR version, Amazon delivery partners are literally scamming customers. And Amazon India will do nothing to help you in this situation. Kiss your money goodbye! I raised this concern on social media a few days back, for a product (Levi's jeans) which was marked as delivered but I never received it. Their customer support team, did some investigation and came to the conclusion that the product was indeed delivered. Hence, they cannot do anything more to assist me in this situation (refer image) This was not a OTP based delivery, and neither does Amazon mention the name of the person who received the product on their app/website. If it was OTP based delivery, I would know someone has given the OTP so delivery has happened. With a name, at least I would know if there's any person with that name in the house. Now, I have absolutely no way to confirm if Amazon genuinely delivered the product. Except video camera evidence. So I went to see the CCTV footage of the day and time the product was marked as delivered. In the CCTV footage, I see something very strange. The Amazon delivery partner arrives at my place, gets off the bike, takes out the product and for the next couple of mins just keeps doing something on his phone. He doesn't call me, or at least I don't have any call record of calls at that time. In the meanwhile, another person walking out closes the door. That person is not me, neither works for me and neither known to me. Likely associated with a neighbour/tenant and I have no such instructions for my Amazon account for deliveries to be left with anyone else. One minute later the Amazon delivery partner decides to leave (see screenshot). The delivery partner doesn't even enter the house and just leaves after a couple of mins. Without even entering the house, Amazon successfully delivered the product! Wow! And if the delivery partner handed the product to any random person walking out of the house, is that the customer's problem? Was this a very expensive product? No, not at all. So why am I spending all this time to write this? 1. I just want to spread awareness to everyone out there who might be getting scammed by such malpractices from Amazon / delivery partners. 2. If Amazon claims a product is delivered, you can't do nothing about it. Irrespective of whether the product was actually delivered or not. Your money is gone, poof! 3. It should be the company's responsibility to prove that a product was successfully delivered but in India it seems anyone can walk over their customers. 4. I'm shocked that a customer has to go to these lengths to uncover such scams in India 5. If ordering on Amazon, I will always select cash on delivery as the default going forward Amazon India - Do not contact me in hope that I will delete this tweet or evidence now! PS: Video doesn't have the date/time stamp as aspect ratio has been cropped. Will only share that with company officials if someone from Amazon wants to see it. However I told her if she was leaving, she would never be allowed back into my house, the claim she just laughed off with a sneer click. That night, I packed all her belongings and piled them safely. After two full weeks wherever she were, she returned one night alone without my son, she knocked but when I saw no son, I never opened for fear of a harmful attack on me. The next day at 6am, I put the pile of belongings at the door and went for my hustles. It was painful letting go of a 5 year well cultivated relationship which had also resulted into a handsome young boy. I did all this to end the toxicity that was at the peak and stop fights which could have ended in death or severe injuries. They say, to get truth out of a woman, you wait when she is angry. My baby mama spilled sharp claims that made me lose interest and raise suspicious questions. I have never been at the center of my son's prime decision making processes. It is always her little naughty feminist friends or family that dictates what should be done and how. My baby mama will craft any story using my son to extract money from myself and everyone around me, even my mother and distant friends. My son's welfare, and especially education, are very pertinent to me as a father. But it hurts me that my baby mama will get the school, decide whether boarding or day plan, then ask me for school fees at the end of all the important processes. In this economy, much as education is important, it shouldn't be a cut throat for me as a father. I could have a better plan for my son, but alas! I am never invited at the table of decision making. Moving forward, I love my son and not even his mother's validation plans will alter my love for that boy because he is my rightful heir. 🪶OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS JUST HAPPENED! 🪶 So I am in my house and hear this huge bang! At first I think that the wind has slammed one of my doors shut, then I realize my doors were not actually open. I mean honestly it sounded like a large rock fell on my roof. So I go outside to look around and as soon as I open my backdoor, I see three crows fly off my roof. I'm looking up at the roof to see if I can see any damage (like, was this a chunk of meteor or what?!?), then I look down and see this gorgeous Hawk sprawled out on my patio couch (excuse the state of the cover - my dogs are up and down on it constantly - I need to pressure wash it). I realize that the crows must have been chasing him and the Hawk has flown into my back window there, full tilt. He allows me to gently love on him for almost 10 minutes - he must have been stunned. Eventually I try to pic him up and he flies over to my chair by my fire pit and just sits there (pics below) and lets me pet him some more. At this point I have something in the oven beeping that I need to take out, and as soon as I open my back door, Kali (my Chocolate Lab) comes charging out towards the Hawk and the Hawk takes off and flies away, seemingly no worse for wear. For those of you who have followed me for a while, you will know Hawk is my Totem ( I have a Red-Tailed Hawk Feather tattooed on my arm and I have had numerous awesome and amazing Hawk encounters - gifts of Hawk Medicine that I have documented on here), but this was the most beautiful, profound one yet. What an absolute blessing this encounter was for me (not so great for him/her), but I'd like to think that I nursed this Hawk gently through the worst of it. Best of all I got to share this moment with someone really important to me. Wow. I'm still stunned myself. At first I think that the wind has slammed one of my doors shut, then I realize my doors were not actually open. I mean honestly it sounded like a large rock fell on my roof. So I go outside to look around and as soon as I open my backdoor, I see three crows fly off my roof. I'm looking up at the roof to see if I can see any damage (like, was this a chunk of meteor or what?!?), then I look down and see this gorgeous Hawk sprawled out on my patio couch (excuse the state of the cover - my dogs are up and down on it constantly - I need to pressure wash it). I realize that the crows must have been chasing him and the Hawk has flown into my back window there, full tilt. He allows me to gently love on him for almost 10 minutes - he must have been stunned. Eventually I try to pic him up and he flies over to my chair by my fire pit and just sits there (pics below) and lets me pet him some more. At this point I have something in the oven beeping that I need to take out, and as soon as I open my back door, Kali (my Chocolate Lab) comes charging out towards the Hawk and the Hawk takes off and flies away, seemingly no worse for wear. For those of you who have followed me for a while, you will know Hawk is my Totem ( I have a Red-Tailed Hawk Feather tattooed on my arm and I have had numerous awesome and amazing Hawk encounters - gifts of Hawk Medicine that I have documented on here), but this was the most beautiful, profound one yet. What an absolute blessing this encounter was for me (not so great for him/her), but I'd like to think that I nursed this Hawk gently through the worst of it. Best of all I got to share this moment with someone really important to me. Wow. I'm still stunned myself. Thank you Hawk for coming to see me and for your Divine Medicine - I hope you received mine. 💜
