Israel needed that air corridor over Iraq. Now it’s clear why the US repeatedly refused to withdraw its troops from Iraq despite its legitimate government’s requests (a situation that would be labeled a military occupation if any other country did so...) Questioning U.S. involvement in this operation seems absurd to me. From advanced technology and ammunition, surveillance assistance, intelligence sharing, to regional influence to secure cooperation, ensuring access to airspace and maintaining strategic control over neighboring countries to support Israel’s operations... everything Israel is able to do is because of the US.

IDF definitely doesn’t lack chutzpah.

Is it valid for Israel to place air defense equipment, often the highest priority military target, among civilian population? Is it not hypocritical when they accuse everyone else of being barbaric for doing this? Should legit military targets be placed within CEP of civilians?
