ORIRE RESCUE: These details coming from Nigerian Army too Loud!😳 We opted to use ground operation to rescue the abducted schoolchildren children because the aircrafts and drones we used during our rescue operation couldn't locate the abducted schoolchildren and teachers because if you're under that place, you can't even see rays of sunlight. During one of the operations, we lost two soldiers, and some others were wounded. One of them has a broken arm due to a gunshot wound. I took over the operation, and we had assistance from the NSA Nuhu Ribadu, who sent in the National Counter-terrorism unit. We also had the Defence Headquarters special forces, the Nigerian Police, DSS, Nigerian Airforce team from Kanji, troops from Operation Savannah Shield from Kwara State that did a blocking from the Northern side of the state, local vigilantes and Amoteken. We lost some hunters, too. The operation was a complex one, and it lasted for over a month. We focused on identifying the terrorist kingpins that masterminded the abduction and then started cutting off their logistics and informants at the Old Oyo National Park and other parts of the country. We looked for other members of their team and members of their families in Adamawa, Kano, and different parts of the country and got them, and this put pressure on the terrorists. During the last phase of the operation, we blocked their major logistics hub in Ashamu, and it finally made them to willingly release the schoolchildren and teachers unconditionally, but we insisted that it was not about releasing but seeing to end of the terrorists operating in the region. - Major General Chinedu Nnebeufe, GOC, 2 Division, Nigerian Army Headquarters, gave details of how the abducted Oriire schoolchildren and teachers were rescued by security operatives.

Once the slaughter is over, and it has to be over, there is an expectation that Palestinians should move on regardless of the lives lost, of the limbs lost, of the loved ones lost. There is an expectation that parents will walk the earth with the shadow of their killed children and do nothing about it. The children who are orphaned will hold onto the memory of their parents but not to the anger over how they were killed. There is an expectation that a nation will be able to move on from the reality of parents carrying their children’s remains in plastic bags, of families buried under the rubble or in the sand they found shelter in after everything else was destroyed. That we will be able to move on as a nation from the images of burning children, of starving infants, of the impact that bombs left behind, on the lives of many Palestinians, on their scarred bodies, in their hearts and minds, of the impact that a single bullet lodged in the child’s head or heart has over an entire family forever. We said long ago, we made a choice, to seek justice not vengeance, but we cannot be prevented from seeking either. We cannot continue to be denied our right to life, to liberty, to dignity. We cannot be denied recourse and reparation. No one has a rightful claim to supremacy, to exceptionalism, to domination, to oppression, no one.

The catastrophic mismanagement of the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to the needless deaths of many thousands, was only worsened by the egregious plunder of public funds during that dark period. And as if that were not enough, he orchestrated the massacre of thousands more under the farcical banner of a so-called war on drugs—an operation drenched in blood, fear, and impunity. Now, we find ourselves burdened anew by the staggering incompetence and alleged corruption of his own daughter, who pledged to emulate her father's path and even take it further. We have witnessed numerous red flags—instances of brazen misuse of our hard-earned taxpayers’ money. She is also alleged to have plotted, or at least conspired, in a sinister scheme to assassinate the sitting President of the Republic. We are, without doubt, standing on the edge—between light and shadow, between a future redeemed and a future lost. God forbid this nation sees another Duterte ascend to Malacañang. The Filipino people must resist. We must not cower. We must hold them accountable for the grievous sins they have committed against our Republic.
