It's not just the east, it's the east and south south. This is called Julie mango in my village (not sure why) but Lagos people need to explore round Nigeria more, it's amazing. Even corn you find in the SS and SE is amazing compared to anyone in Lagos.

All I will say is, take the seed to your home and plant it. Someone brought it from Germany and planted it in Igbo soil hence the name German Mango same as Cameroon Pepper.
