After a couple more days with Composer 2.5, I've got a pretty good sense of what it can do for game dev, specifically this mouse cursor racing game I'm building. It nailed ~80% of the features I threw at it, from planning to execution. Pretty amazing. I did have to switch to Opus 4.7 MAX a few times for features that need stronger visual understanding, like adding a 360 loop to the track or nailing a specific visual effect I had in mind. But man, Opus 4.7 MAX is expensive. Composer 2.5's visual understanding is weaker than Opus 4.7, but for most other things it's pretty damn close, and 10x cheaper. So it's now my default. The beauty of Cursor is I can switch models whenever I want, so I'm never stuck on one. Really excited for the larger incoming model. I have a feeling it's going to shine at planning. Can't wait!

BREAKING NEWS: Anthropic just dropped Claude Ops 4.5!! It is by FAR the best coding model I've ever used. We've been testing it internally Every 📧 for the last few days, and it is an absolute paradigm shift for any kind of coding task. It extends the horizon of what you can vibe code The current generation of new models—Anthropic’s Sonnet 4.5, Google’s Gemini 3, or OpenAI’s Codex Max 5.1—can all competently build a minimum viable product in one shot, or fix a highly technical bug autonomously. But eventually, if you kept pushing them to vibe code more, they’d start to trip over their own feet: The code would be convoluted and contradictory, and you’d get stuck in endless bugs. When u use Fable / Opus to generate models it can be quiet a pain in the ass to do small iterations. I also needed a way for the model to easily visualise the results of what he built so he could iterate over it. So I built a custom model viewer it can access and where I can easily fine tune models manually if needed. Used it for my game Valoria

OPUS 4.6 WAS NERFED DUE TO DEMAND BUT OPUS 4.5 DOES NOT SEEM TO BE HIT this guy ran the same test on both models. Opus 4.6 fails consistently but Opus 4.5 passes every time he switched back to Opus 4.5 on Claude Code and said "what a difference, feels like i got Opus back finally" he is now using this test as a "quantization canary" that runs it at the start of every session before doing real work. if it fails, the model is degraded. five Opus 4.6 windows in a row failed the untransparent nerfing is pushing people to cancel their Max plans if you've been feeling like Opus got dumber lately, you're not imagining it i'd suggest switching to Opus 4.5 to see the difference for yourself

Charles Kanjama on whether the DP can run for office or not: The court was not clear on it; it could have been clear by making a declaration that the outcome of the impeachment will not have any consequence. My interpretation is that because the court has found that there has been a violation of the right to a fair hearing, of necessity, the fruits of the impeachment cannot all be sustained. The finality in terms of bringing in a new DP has been sustained, but the other fruits of impeachment, which is to stop the DP from running again, cannot be sustained. I just had to make a new video of GLM-4.7-Flash - Helping me refactor VLLM studio - Did a data analytics report for work - Managed to search my tweets - Made me a fully playable Pacman in 1 shot - Great at browser use This model is too good to be this small, the full thing will fit on a macbook, it's fast, precise and can do pretty much anything Sonnet can. It somehow benches higher than Sonnet 4, 3.7, Opus 4.5 no thinking, all the GPT models from last year and more.
