Orange County Public School Board is looking at introducing a policy that would BAN gender neutral bathrooms and force trans students to use the bathroom of their birth assigned sex. Meanwhile, there are real problems happening at OCPS schools.

Meanwhile: The only licensed therapist at WPHS left halfway through the year, teachers are drowning in work with little to no resources, someone literally got shot at an ocps schools recently, and this is what we are spending time on?

There are two gender neutral bathrooms on campus, 19 segregated. This is a non-issue.

I'm openly gay, and I'm tired of a small group of T making the rest of the LGB look insane. This is a complete non issue, I went to school with multiple trans people in the 2000's, and it wasn't an issue then either. No one cared. No one does now, either. Thank you Will.

I'm always curious as to how they're going to enforce that rule. Like, are there going to be mandatory genital checks outside of each restroom? Because I think that qualifies as sexual harassment/assault of a minor.

It’s abhorrent policy yet it reveals that the cruelty is the point. That’s how sinister our society has become in rejecting anyone not on the designated path. Florida politics are Draconian. Thank you for being a champion of sanity.
