All it looked like, was a thank you note, not an envelope. The rule with tips in envelopes is, you tape the corner, and leave it hanging at an angle so that the delivery person knows it is not just a sign, but something they are allowed to take.

Surprised someone even took that batch. Drivers can see the items & tip in the app (if added when ordering). Perhaps it was grouped it with another high tip order. Or someone accepted without checking. Heavy item bonus $ is often way less than it should be.
