Meanwhile, she is ramming through the biggest tax hike package in Oregon's history on those of us who LABOR day in and day out just to afford her failed management of this state. Olympia Democrats are going to try and pass a statewide, 5% head tax on all companies over 50 employees. This comes after the largest tax increase in Washington state history to cover their $16 Billion in overspending. It also comes 1 month after they swept the statewide special state Senate elections, where they faced no electoral consequences. And the narrative they are going with... "But Trump" In the interview, Rep Shaun Scott also makes a snide remark about which programs we suggest they cut to which we answer: Senate Republicans gave you a no tax budget last year and you didn't even open it. Enjoy Tax Freedom Day this week! So far, on average, you have worked the first 4 months of this year to pay taxes to the Government. Taxes have now risen to about a third of the economy under Labor. Under Labor, Tax Freedom Day has been getting later and later. Taxes are up $26,000 per Australian household per year since COVID. Now Labor wants more taxes. Labor wants a tax on property (removing negative gearing), Labor wants a tax on investment (increasing tax on capital gains) and a tax on small businesses (taxing the trusts that so many use). Enough with more Labor taxes that just make you work more for them.
