A lot of these are goaltends lol albeit still all of these are very high effort high intensity plays. Just goes to show that no, defense doesn’t win games. You need an offensive presence combined with defensive effort. Because a lot of these shots shouldn’t have even been allowed in the first place. ( a lot of help D)

I used to get so annoyed when he’d volleyball spike some of these out of bounds unnecessarily. Could have easily created a ton of high value advantage transition opportunities the other way. But he really was an elite shot blocker in his prime.
