Did you know Trump's former personal attorney, who's now the Acting Attorney General, will appoint whoever he wants to oversee a $1.8 BILLION slush fund for Trump's political allies? First, Trump pardoned violent insurrectionists, and now he wants taxpayers to pay them off.

SEN. Jon Ossoff: “Donald spent Saturday complaining on the Internet. 6 hours, 52 posts… and when not posting he’s trying to rob us. He sued the 🇺🇸 government he commands for $10 BILLION, then settled with himself for $1.776 Billion to cut checks to cronies and 1/6 foot soldiers.”

PabloReports: What do you make of this $1.8 billion fund for pardoned fraudsters and January 6th insurrectionists? Ramirez: It’s bullshit. While you’re already struggling trying to figure out how to pay for gas, he wants to give your money to people who tried to take over the Capitol and harmed Capitol Police. He’s pushing to see how far he can go so that he can control everything and run this country as a corrupt money-making scheme for himself and his friends.

Sen. Jon Ossoff: Trump spent Saturday complaining on the internet. 6 hours, 52 posts. He attacked the Pope, posted his own face on Mount Rushmore and a made up a Trump Peace Prize. He assured an increasingly concerned public he's in excellent health. When he's not posting, he's trying to rob us. He sued the government for $10B, then he settled the suit with himself to create a $1.8B dollar slush fund so he can cut checks to cronies and J6ers.

PabloReports: What do you make of this $1.7 billion slush fund that Trump is proposing from the IRS for January 6th insurrectionists and pardoned fraudsters? Aguilar: This shouldn’t surprise anybody. This is a guy who pardoned 1,500 insurrectionists, and now, as part of that commitment to them, he wants to give them a check. It’s terrible, but this is exactly who he is.

PabloReports: What do you make of this $1.7 billion slush fund that Trump is proposing from the IRS for January 6th insurrectionists and pardoned fraudsters? Scanlon: It’s endless grift. I have never seen such a bunch of snake-oil salesmen. I think it’s probably accurate that his lawsuit against the government—where he was going to settle with himself for $10 billion—was about to be thrown out because it’s a complete fraud. So now he’s trying to pivot and set up another slush fund he can use to pay off people who do whatever he wants, including storm the Capitol. I think it’s despicable, and I hope the judge puts an end to it.

The same people who beat police officers and attacked the Capitol were pardoned by Trump — and now he wants taxpayers to cut them a check. Every American should be outraged.

Jayapal: First, Trump essentially sues the IRS for taxpayer dollars for himself, and then he says he’ll drop the lawsuit if he gets his $1.7 billion slush fund for the January 6th insurrectionists that he pardoned. It is an outrage that taxpayers are having to pay for this and that we have a president who is exercising such open corruption and expecting us to go along with it.

It appears Donald J. Trump and his sycophants are pretending that Jan 6 had nothing to with MAGA, and he's trying to rewrite history by paying them with a $1.8 billion slush fund. So here's the full documentary to remind of the facts - Donald Trump ordered his foot soldiers to storm the Capitol and halt the transfer of power. 5 police officers were killed and the mob tried to kill Mike Pence and Nancy Pelosi. "Capitol Riot: Minute by Minute"

Todd Blanche should not be confirmed as Attorney General. We cannot trust that he will not move forward with the $1.8 billion slush fund for pardoned insurrectionists and Trump himself.

Trump sued his own government for $10 billion. Today he settled with the DOJ he runs and cut the judge out of the process. The deal: a $1.8 billion taxpayer-funded slush fund his Attorney General controls, with no court oversight and no transparency. It’s the most corrupt scheme of his presidency.

Trump just created a $1.7 billion slush fund for himself. He wants to use your taxpayer dollars to pay off January 6th insurrectionists & his political allies. It’s outright corruption.

Last night, House Rules Committee voted three times to let Donald Trump create his corrupt slush fund, pay off convicted violent felons who beat cops on January 6th, and give $$$ to the people he pardoned who have gone on to commit more crimes, including sexually abusing children. They’ve turned the Rules Committee into the Donald Trump Protection Committee.

McGovern: He says he wants to make America affordable again. Well, inflation just hit a seven-month high and his new trade war will cost families $2,000 more a year Trump says he wants to balance the budget. His plan would add $3 trillion to the deficit to give billionaires another tax cut. Let me repeat that again. To give billionaires a tax cut. All these cutbacks, all these firings are going to fund tax cuts for billionaires. He says social security is paying benefits to millions of people over 100 years old. Totally wrong. Debunked a hundred times. He says he cares about childhood cancer. He slashed the funding for child cancer research. He says his tariffs are good for farmers. Last time he did this, farmers lost $27 billion. He says he supports law enforcement. He pardoned the people who beat police officers on January 6. He pardoned them. People who tried to overturn the election. People who brutally beat the men and women who protect us in this chamber every single day. Just one outrageous statement after another and not a single peep from my Republican friends.

PabloReports: Any reaction to this $1.7 billion slush fund that Trump is proposing from the IRS for January 6th insurrectionists and pardoned fraudsters? AOC: I mean, he’s using the entire government as a slush fund at this point, extorting everyone and anyone he can. They’re robbing everyone of their healthcare in order to become billionaires, and they’re going to cut loose. It’s one of the most unpatriotic and un-American acts I’ve seen in my entire life, and probably in modern political history.

Trump did this. He pardoned January 6 rioters, then tried to hand them a $1.8 BILLION taxpayer-funded slush fund as a reward. Now we’re learning that some pardon recipients have since faced charges involving sex crimes, domestic violence, assault, DUIs, illegal firearms, and other offenses. The whole thing felt less like compensation and more like an attempt to financially reward and strengthen the militia that attacked the Capitol.
