@community notes pleas verify: This is pollen released from the pine trees that has been carried into the upper atmosphere by the updraft created by the many fires in the region. Some types of pine cones will only germinate when burned first.

Probably the 60k lbs of ammonium nitrate that was burning to create the orange haze.. just saying, but I’m tin foil hat 😂

It is pollen from pine trees. Happens every year. Be grateful for the rain as it washes it all away until this time next year

I don't ever remember skies colored orange! Pollen and orange sky never seen that either! Looks more like chemical residue, like what was seen in the water of E. Palestine, OH.

If you haven’t lived in northern Canada, you wouldn’t know it’s pollen. It’s pollen.
