We have strengthened our military, capability, technological, and industrial independence. We must see this effort through to the end, fully. We must accelerate it, and in light of current events, we must finish convincing all Europeans to engage alongside us in this work.

250 years ago, men in Philadelphia committed treason and called it independence. 150 years later, the only president ever born on the Fourth of July stood in that same city and told us why we were still standing. We still are. The question on our 250th birthday: are we still the republic they created? Liberty is our legacy. Be worthy of it. God bless America, and happy 250th. 🇺🇸
