Here’s the part that matters 👇 Basel III Endgame forces banks to treat precious metals differently on their balance sheets. Paper games, leverage tricks, and synthetic exposure don’t cut it anymore. Physical metal matters. Risk matters. Capital requirements matter. That’s why: ▫️ Banks that were short silver for years quietly repositioned ▫️ Shorts were covered ▫️ Long positions started appearing ▫️ And physical silver began trading at higher premiums globally than what you see on COMEX This also explains why: ▫️ Other countries are selling silver above COMEX prices ▫️ Physical demand keeps draining inventories ▫️ And the paper price keeps looking “off” compared to reality Basel III Endgame didn’t cause silver to rise overnight. Alderman Lamont J Robinson of the 4th Ward wants to sue Walgreens for shutting down stores that are losing money & putting the safety of their employees at risk. This is the Walgreens on Belmont/Broadway, it’s a good neighborhood (Chicago standards) & this is what happens at that store. I cannot imagine what happens in high crime areas of the city. Don’t get mad at the Security Guard, he is doing the only thing he can do, record & call CPD.

Jordan Golson has a great read on 5-year partnership between LoveFrom and Ferrari for its first EV: ▫️It began in 2021 and before Jony Ive or Marc Newson “drew a single line, they spent six months on research.” ▫️Research led to 4 hardcover books, that were “substantial, rigorous volumes printed in both Italian and English, left page and right page, covering philosophy, design history, the cultural significance of Ferrari within Italy, the relationship between human attention and physical interaction." ▫️In an incredible coincidence, Benedetto Vigna became Ferrari’s CEO in 2021 (he is a physicist who invented the "three-axis accelerometer that ended up inside the iPhone"). ▫️LoveFrom has spent past 2.5 years manufacturing components for the car’s interior (including 40+ custom glass pieces in collaboration with Corning, which Steve Jobs had convinced to commercialize Gorilla Glass for the first iPhone). ▫️Ive felt too many new cars has taken the minimalist iPhone touchscreen to the interiors and wanted to find a way to blend tactile knobs with digital. ▫️One of the most striking things from Ferrari Luce’s launch video is the Ferrari key fob that goes next to the stick shift and lights up the car. ▫️Ive wanted the key fob to create "theatre" with how the vehicle turned on (as Golson notes, "Electric cars fundamentally lack the ritual of starting up. There are no double-blind, placebo-based randomized controlled trials for the safety of childhood vaccines. They don't exist because the people responsible for them decided not to do them. I know this because in 2017 Robert F. Kennedy Jr and I sat down at the NIH with Francis Collins and Tony Fauci and asked them. We said, we can't find a single placebo-based safety trial for any vaccine on the childhood schedule. Are you doing them, or are we just not seeing them? They told us they don't do those trials because they believe it is unethical to withhold what they consider a beneficial product from a control group. That is the logic. The faith that the product is so valuable that studying it rigorously would be unfair to the people in the trial not getting it. So they never study it. Every vaccine given to every child in America rests on an assumption of safety and nothing more. Marcello Foa

The three ways AI, particularly long-horizon agents, are changing the role of PMs: "First, product development is changing because the models and the capabilities are growing so fast that if you try to be very strict and stringent about describing exactly what you're going to build, its not going to work. It's very important for the PMs to be understanding of what these models are capable of and to be hands-on. The only thing PMs do now is articulate what the customer needs are at the highest level. But the actual product is built bottoms up by engineers, researchers, and product managers and designers all working together on the code itself. Second, the product manager and designer role are merging increasingly. When given the choice between an extra designer and extra engineer, they're saying, give us an extra engineer. And the other very important thing that's fundamentally different is non-deterministic software. Today, you could do X, Y happens. But if you do slight variation of X something completely different happens. That means someone has to evaluate whether or not what the software is producing is reasonable or not across various use cases. So the PM's job is to be very clear at a high level of what the user needs are, and then have a very clear sense of whether this product is good to ship or not by evaluating it."
