I got eye tracking working with the look at shader. It's all on one material and obviously it's not perfect but it's a good start. You can make it so it only does this in the camera to make sure you're always looking at the camera for photos.

In the "server update" Valve changed pauses: Added network timers for unpausing (m_fUnpauseRawTime / m_fUnpauseCurTime) - a separate countdown before resuming the game. The new CCitadel_Modifier_PauseUnPause modifier now remembers the player's view angle at the start of the pause (m_qPauseStartAngle). This means that you can look around with your camera during a pause, but it will now return to its original position when the game resumes. Via / DDLexpress
