Launched under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, this historic initiative is advancing the vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ by ensuring greater financial security, dignity and new opportunities for millions. Under PM Awas Yojana, 20 lakh houses have been sanctioned in Assam. Under Assam Govt’s Orunodoi scheme - 40 lakh families receive ₹1,250 every month. In March 2026, ₹9,000 was transferred. There are 1.75 crore Ayushman card holders, covering 92% of Assam's population. The Government of West Bengal have organised “Jan Kalyan Shivirs” across West Bengal from 15th to 17th June 2026 as a convergent, single-window outreach programme to bridge the gap between various Central & State Government Schemes and their intended beneficiaries. These Camps would enable on-the-spot registration and verification for Schemes like Annapurna Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, PM Matsya Sampada Yojana, PM Garib Kalyan Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Vishwakarma Yojana and other welfare initiatives.
