Because these are players playing with ZERO confidence. Yes you'd hope someone would step up, but football is a team game. If your teammates are struggling and the team itself doesn’t believe in what the manager is telling them, you’re going to see this level of performance. You really believe Xavi can’t make a simple pass because of his ability or because he's playing in a new environment which is a complete mess.

Last season was the same, we finished 17th only because they were playing under a suicidal system. Now it's because of the lack of confidence due to the manager. We're making excuses after axcuses for poor players, they never take responsabilites. We pay them a lot of money and they can perform only under the perfect manager and the perfect scenario. We're treating them like babies, this are all technical mistakes, the same I'm watching all season. But I'm sure believeing it's all on the manager calm us down a lot.

To me this looks like individuals trying their best to make something happen amidst chaos. Look at the distances they are running in these clips! None of these guys are prime Bale so it looks awful, but I'd still contend there's some very decent and capable players in there.

Inconsistency is a sign of a bad player. No good player is heavily inconsistent, thousands of players are good on their day. Few of them are good every day.

Not sure about that, particularly when we're talking about young players. But you're the qualified coach so probably I'll have to defer to you on that. I would've thought 19 and 20 year olds should be working towards consistency rather than being a finished article?

The may not be the best but a manager who knows what he's doing can get the best out of certain individuals. I'm sure it's like rocket science for you trying to figure out how smaller teams play better football than us.

In almost off of these clips it shows 2-4 spurs players against 4-6 defenders. Massive gaps behind the forwards to other midfielders or the defense, no overloads, very few over or under lapping runs. Very poor tactical setup and expecting attackers to work magic on their own.

Thank you for making this. Clear as day, that individual errors ruin is the biggest issue in our build up. We get into decent situations, but it gets squandered and wasted again and again. I am not saying Frank is without blame, but my god his hair must be turning grey soon

Yeah blame the attack when there’s no rotations or options, Frank is expecting 3 attackers to outperform 4/5 defenders with no help. Where’s the options here? Why is the pivot so deep? Happened on many occasions, zero overloads.
