If you uncritically accept the truth of a caption on any random TikTok video you see, YOU are the one who is cooked.

High school students. Stop your lying.

Okay? Thats why we show them what they see and get them used to this, acting like they are gonna go straight into surgery after watching the video

They have to start getting desensitized somewhere. Y’all are annoying, if they were all stoic and/or excited about it y’all would be perturbed and say “they’re all psychopaths in how they’re so calm/excited about it.” Y’all make fun or complain eitherway.

🤣🤣🤣 I got to see one live and I was fascinated when the doc showed us how they pull out the uterus and stitch it up. He showed us the fallopian tubes and ovaries. Truly incredible and he was very gentle with the mom. The baby was pulled out in the bag of water. And she was perfect. Totally amazing and I feel grateful to this day for my wonderful nursing school experiences. Some people are built for it. Some are 🤣 not.

Would be interesting to see all of those who are making fun of them watch some gruesome medical videos. How about something where guts spill out of a screaming child? But u know it's real, and not some movie. I would look like that watching a birth for the first time

This was HIGH SCHOOLERS, not medical students.

These aren’t medical students. At best, they’re college freshmen.

Is this really medical students? Most look about 16 or so. But I still don't understand the reactions. I could literally eat my dinner watching an operation on the TV. I do get mildly squeamish with eyes though. 😬

Assuming they are ...so what? These look like barely out of highschool Freshmen. They haven't even started the theory part. By the time they graduate they'll have had time to get used to it, and that's even before their residency begins.

These kids look 16/17 no way they’re in medical school for one and for two having a reaction the first time you see something is normal. I don’t belive for a minute that’s what’s happening here though

I don’t think those are medical students, not yet. They have to have graduated from college, during which they’d have done dissections on their own in biology classes, then been admitted to a medical program, so likely a minimum of 22 years old. These look like naïve teenagers.

Medical students? They look like they’re about 16 years old?

future psychopath

Chat, are we cooked?

“Future doctors” and it’s a video do middle schoolers You are an an ape among men

Bet most of the boys in that class watch horror/slasher films that are vastly more disturbing than a medical procedure they can’t even look at

not to be cynical, but these kids look way too young to be medical students - highschoolers mabye?

what's the appropriate reaction to seeing a human being c-sectioned?

You have to study this stuff to get an immunity to it. I used to be super scared of bugs, but after the first year in uni for Environmental science, I'm now picking up and photographing and handling all sorts of insects and tiny critters every day

This video has been debunked

1 how do you know the caption is true 2 you know that those videos are shown so that they get used to it? its normal they would not like to see them at first

You would think that somebody that wants to become a doctor watched a few operations. I just got a Csection and watched one just to know what would happen.

These have to be pre-med students since they look so young. I would say this is done to weed out the feeble.

These kid look no older than college freshmen presumably in an intro course. At least 60% of them won’t make it through medical school or go into a practice not as graphic

"Our future doctors" you know every doctor started somewhere right? You know people don't just come out of the womb mentally prepared for the stuff doctors see daily, right? Its their first time seeing something that is quite frankly unpleasant to look at. Get over yourself

Um, I'm a teacher, and those are high school students. People really need to be a whole lot more skeptical, especially of anything on X.

As someone who has been in nursing for 20 yrs please shut the hell up… I’ve worked in surgery and icu and some things will still make you wince like this… it’s even worse having to go hands on.. there’s a natural progression and this is where it starts genius

they look really young to be in college and we can't even know if that's really what they're watching

You should worry about the people without reactions

If it's the first time you've seen it it's pretty fuckin' rough haha I don't judge them for averting their gaze day 1.

Get your healthcare in Canada if you can.

The vast majority of doctors will never have to perform a cesarean section in their entire career. These guys are not surgeons.
