Rose if I may. My 13 year old son has a best friend whose mum died. They don’t have phones but do have laptops. My son sat all through the night online helping his friend get through the worst 24 hours of his life. Social media can be real connections for marginalized kids.

I do recognise this, your son sounds like a wonderful friend. There is good that comes from online connection - finding a tribe, democratizing media, building movements. But the algorithms can genuinely be harmful for kids too. And I welcome (thoughtful) replies you so may!

Our future shouldn’t be dictated by government. People constantly share with me how the burden of government and taxes affect their mental health.

Young people constantly share with me how algorithms and social media affect their mental health. Where? This is just a video of YOU talking?

I mean at this event, where we heard from hundreds of young people who said social media was having an impact on their mental health.

Is this the lady that reckons you can rent a 2 bedroom apartment in Sydney for 200 a week? If so I think I will continue to take my advice from people that work for a living...

Our futures shouldn't be dictated by CORRUPT politicians. To try and ameliorate your guilt by saying you didn't book the trip is disengenuous in the extreme. You're all tarred with the same brush. Corrupt labor filth with their snouts in the trough. RESIGN
