It's legitimately insane how much of a difference some post processing + decent lighting makes in a game. It really can crank it from "hobby" to "AAA" in an instant.

I mean it does look objectively better, but I kinda like the colour and vibe without it. I guess reminds me PS3 era of games. But you probably can just turn on and of in settings, so you could expirience both, right?

This post is a perfect anecdote of why modern games are a lifeless husk that offers no fulfillment or intellectual stimulation. This is a CG environment. There is no game here. In terms of game quality, refining an aesthetic is kitsch fluff unless it enriches the gameplay.
