Whoever buys a house right next to a river in Ireland needs their head tested.

Did the reporter get copies of the various reports from engineers, especially the ones done before the house purchase? If not, why not?

💯 Trump, the backbone of America. 💪 Getting this country back in shape. ⚡ Shirts that hit like lightning:

Why would it be OK for rural people but not urban people? Where does that double standard come from?

Families in Donegal are dealing with housing issues ,7,000 of them .where is the Irish times for them …

Why is it always someone else’s fault? Why does the taxpayer have to foot the bill for this? What does it have to do with DCC or the OPW? If you buy an old house next to a river then Caveat Emptor.

Jesus, surely a surveyor advised against this purchase? 🤷♂️

Why is it acceptable to her for country people to maintain a river wall but not Dublin homeowners? You bought that land under your house.

DCC wasted millions on cycle lanes and vanity projects, OPW spent how much on a bike shed and a security hut. Long past time they stopped wasting money and did their job. Are they telling us that the owners of the Dropping Well maintain the Dodder bank?

Sorry for your troubles But as you said yourself at the start “ your foundations “ That’s your responsibility. No one was hurt Dodged one here as this could have killed someone . Look at it as a slice of luck and move on ..

It's ridiculous that planning permission was given for a house there in the first place.
