Thank you to former Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison Hon. Scott Morrison AC for being with us as we prepared for this response. Pray for those impacted by this devastating storm.

Hurricane Melissa hammered a path of destruction across Jamaica, severely damaging homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses. Most of the island is without power. Samaritan's Purse has been preparing to respond for the past several days as the storm approached. We are loading our cargo planes with shelter material, solar lights, water filters, medical supplies, and more. We hope our first relief flight will be able to land in Jamaica tomorrow. Please pray for those who have lost so much and for our teams as we go in Jesus’ Name.

Early this morning, our sixth airlift to Venezuela took off, carrying more than 100,000 pounds of relief supplies for those suffering after powerful earthquakes. Our Samaritan's Purse 767 will deliver more than 10,000 hygiene kits, 6,000 solar lights, and 5,000 food bags, as well as additional medical supplies to our field hospital there. The most important thing you can do is PRAY—for our teams, for people who have lost everything, for the local churches, and for the country to recover.
