How this isn’t being covered by our local media is beyond me. How this isn’t NATIONAL NEWS is beyond me. Here you have an entire county, two towns, and a nonprofit suing to protect itself from authoritarian solar overreach out of Albany. This same county, the Town of Glen, and GlenFARMLand also sued a few months ago over Mill Point Solar. That is 7 total lawsuits out of one county in the span of 3 months in an effort to protect itself. Why do we all need to sue? ORES was created in a way where it supersedes local zoning and moratoriums, as well as our home rule that is granted to New York citizens in our state constitution. It does it all to forcibly site wind and solar against the will of the rural residents, town supervisors, and county attorneys. And legacy media wonders why it’s dying in our world today. What a joke.

The Xiaomi SU7 just keeps crashing in China - Part 3 This is getting out of hand. Every day, we see new videos on Chinese social media of crashing Xiaomi SU7 sedans. We only post 25% or so, there is much more. Since our last Xiaomi crash-post on April 6, at least 10 new crashes have happened. Whenever a new model is launched, photos of crashes of that car start to appear on Chinese social media, just because people pay attention. Normally, after a few months, the attentions is over and the model really crashes as much as any other car. But in case of the Xiaomi SU7, something more seems to be going on. The latest videos show SU7 sedans in a ditch and against barriers. The 2nd video is interesting. It shows an SU7 on a parking lot, crashing into a Chery QQ that was parked there. Perhaps the auto-park function didn't notice the small QQ and went for it? There have been reports in Chinese media that insurance companies are refusing to insure the SU7. Xiaomi and the insurers have stated that these reports are false. We will try to find out more about insurance prices for the SU7. The RWD SU7 Pro has 220 kW, the AWD Max has 673 kW and the AWD Ultra has 1138 kW. When the SU7 launched, there was a problem with the brakes. This has since been fixed, according to Xiaomi. Also, the launch of the Ultra has led to some debate in China, about whether it is wise to sell a 1138 kW (1548 hp) car to anyone who can afford it. The escalating situation in Kasarani is deeply concerning. Our team of Advocates has been unable to gain access to Kasarani Police Station, where some Kenyans are being held, as the roads have been barricaded. We take note of reports of several persons who have been beaten up and injured by police. We demand that the National Police Service-Kenya exercise restraint from using excessive force against the people. Just two months ago, we were on the verge of letting go of a customer that we had been serving for more than two years. The prices were super competitive as they were procuring these springs from China. According to our cost calculations, we would have to sell them these springs at our breakeven price point. We would not be making any profit from their orders. The volumes were huge and we decided to take up the challenge. In manufacturing, one of the very important metric that your product cost depends on is cycle time. The speed at which we are able to process that part within the desired tolerance. Higher the speed at which you can manufacture, lower the cost of making that component. We could only manage 150 pcs/minute on our imported machines. At this speed, it was unviable for us. It would only make sense for us to continue if we were somehow able to manufacture this spring at a minimum of 200 pcs/minute. We were far apart and it seemed we wouldn’t be able to reach that goal. We were on the verge of giving up after two years of persistent effort in increasing our speed. Today, we manufactured that same spring on the CNC machines that we built in-house at a whopping 220 pcs/minute! We went from almost letting go off that customer to now asking that very same customer to increase our order volumes! First video is our imported machine at 150 pcs/minute. The second video is our in-house machine at 220 pcs/minute.
