We listened, we learned, and we shared quiet moments with survivors(Intwaza)whose strength continues to inspire us. As we mark #Kwibuka31, we remember over one million lives lost during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. We honor the resilience of survivors, the bravery of our liberators and the spirit of a nation that chose unity over division, and dignity over despair. MPORE RWANDA. We remember. We unite. On the day that marks the end of a month of sacrifice, it was fitting that we joined those who sacrifice to keep us safe at the COAS Sallah Luncheon for Troops in the Field of 2 Division Area of Responsibility in Igbeti, Olorunsogo LGA. As I said in my remarks, their welfare is our shared responsibility and we will continue to do all we can to support them to carry out their duties. May their sacrifices never be in vain and may Nigeria continue to find peace through their service to the nation.
