A: There was a tip that came in just like we were taking any other tips and that one came in specifically identifying a person of interest, which was this individual. And so we are detectives, just like the others, but this specific one it was actually picked up by the, by the FBI, and they followed through with it, and they ended up coming and locating this individual of interest.

Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene, that did come out in support of this and support of all of us… So I think what is what you're seeing now and what I'm seeing now is there are a lot of Republicans that are up in arms about this because again, this goes back to his campaign and pretty much everybody in his administration said that this would be something that would be a priority and that they would release the files.

This is not the only vision for what it looks like to have politics in this country—that is so divorced from the needs and wants of everyday people. And what we are looking to show in New York City is an alternative to what has led so many to become disenchanted with the political process. We want to show that not only can government work, but it must, and that at its core, our responsibility is to working people—to ensure that we’re doing everything to make their lives easier. That has to be what drives our actions, and for too long, government has felt more like a distraction than a fulfillment of the needs of the people who’ve been left behind by the politics of today.

Kamlager-Dove says Bari Weiss should be ashamed of herself: The news is not supposed to be the drama, and the fact that Bari Weiss essentially is decimating programs with the highest journalistic integrity, like 60 Minutes, is really a shame. I remember being a little girl and watching 60 Minutes with my grandmother every Sunday night, and you knew that was information that was reliable, truthful, poignant, and that would move the needle. And the fact that this woman seems to be going in and really taking the best parts of journalism out of programming really sucks, and she should be ashamed of herself.
