On November 2, 2024, in the Ada’aa Bargaa district of West Shewa, OLA forces launched a targeted assault that resulted in 190 regime soldiers killed, 150 wounded, and 45 taken as prisoners of war. The operation followed a detailed reconnaissance of the district, focusing on strategic points at Dheebiisaa Hangasaa and Oolankomii. OLA forces seized the regime`s arsenal, including one PKM machine gun, two sniper rifles, 170 AKM assault rifles, tens of thousands of rounds of ammunition, and advanced radio communication equipment. These offensives are a direct response to the regime's hastily imposed deadline for a so-called “final offensive” hallucinating about ending the resistance. The breadth and precision of the OLA's ops continue to underscore our commitment to countering the regime’s intensified aggression. Among the POWs, one with the rank of Shaleqa (major of a battalion) recounted his journey, sharing how he along with his colleagues were initially taken prisoner during the Tigray war and later released. After thier release, they were forcibly conscripted into the regime's forces once more—this time, to fight against the OLA. Now held by the OLA, he has expressed a strong willingness to resist the regime’s oppressive tactics, describing his experiences as a cycle of coercion and survival. His story reflects the complex layers of forced allegiance and the growing resentment among soldiers compelled into battles that they do not support. The OLA calls upon the ICRC and other humanitarian organizations to assist in providing assistance and care for the growing POWs, as the regime has shown complete disregard for their well-being.

🚨 Zelenskyy said Russia is planning a massive spring offensive, but morale among Ukrainian soldiers remains very high and they continue to regain more territory. “As for the (russian) spring offensive. The main goals are the east of our state, namely capturing the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. In principle, their plans haven't changed. There's a delay because they can't do it with the means and forces they have today, and because of the actions of our Armed Forces, our defense forces. In addition, there was also the southern direction being considered (by russians) Yoy know, the Zaporizhzhia region. And the direction between Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. What we understand is these are all their offensives. Also on the direction of the Dnipro. But nevertheless. What have our Armed Forces done? In the south of our country over the past month and a half, they've carried out a number of important actions in defense and in some areas, offensive operations. The actions were solely aimed at disrupting the plans of the Russian Federation. We believe we've quite successfully regained control over about 400-435 kilometers (of Ukrainian land) As of today, that's the case. This direction is difficult, the tension remains there. It's really very hard for our guys, very hard, but everyone, I'll say this carefully, everyone is in a much more positive place than they were at the end of '25. This is true, and we're grateful to them for it. And I awarded the guys and girls who are in these directions. Well, well done! Morale has improved. This is pleasing”, - Zelenskyy on Sunday, March 8th, 2026

‘Israel’s war on the Palestinians and Arabs is NO LONGER A JUST WAR, it will bring about the end of Zionism.’ —Former Chief of Israel’s Shin Bet Admiral Ami Ayalon ‘Our war with the Arabs and the Palestinians started since the beginning of the Zionism, at the end of the 19th century. What I claim is that we won this war. We won this war because in Beirut in 2002, all the Arab League members, they met and they reverse the three no’s of Khartoum, as a result of the Israeli victory in the Six Day War, they met in Khartoum and they come to decide on three no’s: No to recognition, no to negotiation, and no to peace with Israel. It took several years and in 2002 they met again in Beirut and they understand that what they're facing is a new region, new Middle East, a new reality. And they reverse and they decide on the three yes: yes to recognition, yes to conversation and negotiation, and yes to peace with Israel, on the conditions, on the parameters of the UN Security Council resolutions. This is a major victory and we refuse to see our victory...since they accepted our presence, our right to declare a Jewish state in the Middle East, what I claim is that since this moment our war is not a just war anymore. Because what we are fighting for, and we do not understand in Israel, is in order to expand our eastern border, to deny the creation of a Palestinian state and the Palestinian right to self-determination…this is the end of the Zionist dream. Because if we are not majority in our state, we do not have the power and we do not have the right to dictate the culture, the language, the symbols, the way we celebrate our holidays. So in a way we are fighting without understanding that this war will bring the end of Zionist concept.’ Watch the full interview in the quoted post below👇
