Over the past year, many people have asked me:"With XPENG’s robots getting so much attention, why don’t you show them more often?" It’s simple: I don’t agree. I believe our robots need to be better, not louder. We shouldn’t be in a rush. We should spend our time on...

On September 8, #XPeng announced a production line in Guangzhou operated by humanoid robots. The EV brand's in-house general-purpose robot, IRON, can join in assembly and walk off on its own. XPeng plans mass output as early as the end of 2026. 📷: XPeng

After all that drama about whether the robot was a woman in a suit or not and then the dramatic cutaway reveal on stage I've been wondering what happened to you. I had a lot of dabbing on the naysayers! Please post more Mr. He.

The gait is extraordinary, the best among humanoid robots today, yet it's still not good enough. There is still something 'jerky' in it from time to time...

金属之路最为拥挤。解剖之路空无一人,正因为它最难走——而它才通向终点。

Completely understand and that's how the long term vision must be. But, why not show robots complex features and its ability to handle certain key tasks. What we see everytime is the robot performing a walk. Loved the walk though. Wish you the best.

the best robotics companies will be built by teams that optimize for capability, not attention. build quietly. get the fundamentals right. then scale.

董事长的持股比例是不是太高了,伟大公司的董事长持股比例通常都很低,甚至被踢出公司,在合适的时候适度的让渡一些股份,给能帮助公司成长的核心人士

I am actually disgusted by this. I’ve had so many teachers that changed my life and put me in the right path, without them I don’t want to think about where I would be. These teachers are sharing how much money they have in their accounts on the par day. In a society where our teachers are guiding the minds of the future, the people who will be helping us when we are later in life. I don’t think they are appreciated enough nor is the compensation package up to par. It perplexes me how they they have to spend a crazy amount of money for their education, only to struggle to get by with a smile while still being generous enough to pay for the items our children need without being reimbursed for much of it. I think it’s time we create a change, I don’t think it’s fair we expect so much of them and they give so much to us only to relieve so little. I know people are going to argue with me and say well they chose to do it so if they aren’t happy with the pay, they can get another job. While that’s true, we would be in bad shape however if they ever chose to do that. Who would be teaching our kids and preparing them for the future. I think we focus too much on things that aren’t and shouldn’t be our priority while neglecting and overlooking a major issue right below our noses. Their jobs are important and our kids would fail without them so why are we treating them like they aren’t important? It’s because it’s easy for us to think of them as our babysitters for half the day. We treat them like Nannie’s who only watch our kids while we go to work and do things we enjoy. Maybe it’s time we revisit our roles in helping them achieve our goals.

🐿 The reason I was so busy at Coachella wasn’t just because I was watching performances. Inside Coachella, I also went around meeting and talking with a lot of other artists. There were some I personally really like, and some that our members have liked for a long time too. So when I met them, I talked about how it would be fun to try this or that together later, like “Our member really likes this kind of thing, so it would be cool if the two of you did something together.” That’s why I walked around quite a bit. As for collaborations, personally I’m the type who thinks it should happen naturally. Rather than forcing a meeting, it’s better when our thoughts and directions match. I really enjoy doing ATEEZ activities with the members, so if the direction doesn’t feel right for a collab, it’s honestly hard for me. I think the other members feel the same way. Even if it’s an artist I admire and really like, if our visions don’t align after talking, it’s not easy to work together. That’s why I had a lot of those kinds of conversations. Also, since our group schedule is already so packed for the whole year, I believe that any time we expand our individual boundaries, it has to be meaningful for both them and me. So while I was there, I thought it would be better to meet people in person, talk directly, and connect, rather than just doing quick “tick-tick” stuff through the managers. That’s why I ended up walking around a lot just to talk to people.
