Just once is nothing but each subsequent time you do it ads further embarrassment. I met a trans guy through an other friend and I misgendered him once. Okay, apologize, no big deal. I stg I misgendered him again like 5 minutes later. I apologized again felt a little embarrassed. Then I did it a third time in like 10 minutes time and at that point I just felt like an asshole. I barely spoke for the next 30 minutes cause I felt embarrassed <_> Great guy though! He was fine with it and he's an amazing frien :3
