GUYS!!! Quit feeling bummed about Niantic destroying our global communities and the constant screw ups with events / features that end in terrible compensation!!!!!! The team has been working on groundbreaking user experience updates 😀🙂😐 Anyway, since we're on the topic can we discuss other ideas that would actually improve UXP significantly compared to reorganizing the research tab that most of us have probably gotten used to by now anyway and that didn't have an explicitly negative impact on playing the game? Lol 1. This is an obvious one. I mean, they did a whole upgrade to the research tab and couldn't be bothered to include the ONE LINE OF CODE that ALREADY EXISTS IN THEIR FILES to make the BATTLE PASS REWARDS COLLAPSIBLE???????? Come on lol 2. An update to navigating within gyms would be nice :) i attached a video of me trying to feed berries and no matter what or how I clicked or swiped I could not get to that gdamn accelgor 🫠 can we have some ARROWS at the sides of the screen so we can actually get to each pokemon efficiently?! 3. Similar to #2, except with the friends list. When scrolling left and right through friends (as in, not in the list view) the scrolling function itself is not smoothe and it's too easy to accidentally press the trade or battle screen and get caught there for a sec. Frustrating little experience, could be easily fixed with arrows on the screen. 4. While we're on the topic of friends, let us see if we've interacted with a friend from their avatar screen and not just in list view from the blue aura around the avi's face :) In the grand scheme of everything Niantic does wrong with the game, these are... MINISCULE issues 🙂 but since they're apparently into focusing on UXP updates, instead of, like, making sure events and features run smoothly and players are properly compensated when they don't, it would be nice to get updates that actually fix some negative / inefficient aspects of navigating through the game 🙂 rather than an aesthetics tweak lol 🙂

Another showcase of their vertical integration of software / hardware / fun engineers! The “Trunk or Treat” option is perfect for leaving your Rivian in the driveway to create a spooky aura during the trick-or-treat hours 😱. There are a few different freaky music choices but the best part is you can select from a bunch of different scary sounds from a sound board on your mobile app to freak people out as they approach your truck. This comes on top of the other fantastic improvements found in the software package 2024.39 - which include a gauge cluster refresh, third zone climate control (rear can now be set to a different temp), and more! UPDATE: I’M ABLE TO SPEAK AGAIN!! I been talking since Tuesday. For those that aren’t familiar with tracheotomies, because of the open hole in my throat, it prevents me from speaking because air goes out the trach rather than up through your voice box. So in order for me to speak, I have a cap called a speaking valve (the purple cap). What it does is cover the trach to allow the air I breathe to go through my nose and mouth again while stopping air from coming out my throat, allowing my voice to come out. It’s a really big adjustment and what should feel like breathing normal doesn’t feel natural at all. I can only wear it for a short time before getting tired for now. A week ago I didn’t even know how to breathe with it on, but last night I had it on for the longest I’ve had so far and it felt comfortable. So there’s hope to getting back to normalcy. I Still have to adjust to my daily life with this thing in my throat. Still not comfortable gaming or sitting for long period of time because of the position I need to be in. It’s getting better though. Hopefully it’s still just part of the healing process. Also. Thank you to the community for giving me the confidence to post videos and pictures of myself in the most unflattering situations.

Hey Punks! Exactly 8 years ago (to the minute) I claimed my first punk. In the years since we've seen a ton of incredible ways the community has shown up for the project and created public goods for the ecosystem and here's yet one more for y'all to nerd out on. Excited to share a fun little tool for y'all I've been working on with Generative Goods and embroidery wizard (DCA) Daniel Calderon Arenas. Put your punkID in the box and get professional quality DST (embroidery) files of your punk in a variety of sizes. I see people wearing their punks all the time and after spending the last few years deeply studying machine embroidery understand how annoying and complex it can be to get a good digitized version of your punk. A good digitization can cost $100 and that's for a single sized output. The punk embroidery generator will give you a range of sizes in stitch-perfect outputs for any of the 10k punks plus for the DIY folks a cross-stitch pattern for you to make your own by hand (s/o to Fanny Lakoubay and Rachel Suzanne Tien Wood who completed theirs of STONE's #98 recently 🙌). We've put some instructions on the site to help you through the process, plus some embroidery machine recommendations in case you want to go all out and make them look at feel professional. Note: GenGoods is not set up to do the embroidery for these (our system uses the same 15 colors across all our projects and Punks use way more colors across all the various outputs) but the downloads on the site give you exactly what you need to walk into any embroidery shop and have them make your punk for you. We suggest thread colors in the tool but that's just to get you started. A good embroidery shop will have tons to pick from so just pick the colors that best match your punk. Anyways we thought it would be a fun way to celebrate the punks 8th anniversary with this fun little tool. Can't wait to see what y'all make with this. Enjoy! 🍻

It’s our life’s work, and we are not going anywhere. Solana is also here to stay, further establishing itself as a force to be reckoned with and gaining more of the recognition it deserves. It's time for us to put forward more of the on-chain ecosystem projects we have always wanted to do. Rolling out new systems, incentives, and experiences to fortify Portals as one web3's killer apps and top destinations. We have a lot to share, and we can't wait to show you.
