Mexicans are still faster & cheaper. That machine probably has a price tag higher than Mexico's net worth as a country

Agreed I'll buy mexico

Yeah but can that thing shit in a bucket and warm it's lunch up in Quick Trip microwave?

Very close conflict sean

Not even lining up the tapered edge to the studs. 😂

No robot is going to chase low voltage shorts in a 2 foot tall, dirt floor crawlspace. Nah that shit is reserved for me. (I actually consider suicide every time I get these calls)

OK but without sheetrockers who is going to blast ranchera music and leave Bud Light cans in the porta johns?

Once all machining was manual, now it's mostly CNC. If you think this thing is going to take your job, be the guy who programs/maintains/operates it, and now it does the heavy lifting while you get paid more for your technical skills.

This technology is a garbage

I know nothing about this machine, so I will take your word for it. As someone who's worked in manufacturing for decades, I have seen a lot of automation creep in, but most companies don't get rid of workers, they just make more stuff and charge less money.

so fake.. 1. nobody in their right mind cuts drywall with a radial saw 2. check out the drywall. the screws are already in it. lol 3. Canvas only makes a "semi-autonomous" FINISHING robot.

Im the plumber, Carpenter, tile setter, drywall, deck, door, windows and floor guy. Mechanic, welder, fabricator, painter, auto body, engine builder all in one. Robots ain't got shit on me.

Yeah, I'd like to see that robot get into some of the crawl spaces I've crammed myself into.

I would die if the sheetrock hanging machine is hecho en mexico 😂

Let's see it do a Level 5. Then I'll be impressed.

Let’s see it cut around bar joints and when the ductwork is 6” away from the wall this thing is basically useless.

But can this drink on the job and leave empties in the wall cavity??? Check mate clanker!

People sleep on plumbing companies, there are a lot of really rich owners.

That’s badass

Pfft this thing doesn’t even smoke weed.

@CollinJHumphrey we’re in trouble 🤣

@grok is this ai?

Let’s see it get to the basement.

Now show it doing a closet and a 6' wide hallway.

Awesome 😎 Right up until it malfunctions and chases you around the building trying to put screws into you! But hey it is great, stairwells? Kitchen triple shaft fire protection? Hmm 🧐 might end up a greatly paid one of 10?drywallers left

Or an instrument and electrical tech

None of its breaking on a stud.. The joints are gonna be all cracked in a month's time

Joe Biden said Anybody who can go down 300 to 3,000 feet in a mine, sure in hell can learn to program as well, but we don't think of it that way" and added, "Anybody who can throw coal into a furnace can learn how to program, for God's sake!"

Can it make coffee?

No...be the first guy to buy one of these machines and be a contractor

AI. But for fun I'll play devils advocate. Vaulted ceilings? Hallways? Closets? Jbox cutouts? Plumbing cutouts? Tight areas with hvac? Etc.....

Fuck that robot.

What happens when something is off? What happens when the robot doesn't realize there is danger that no robot can ever detect...wiring, plumbing, incorrect parts beign used, etc.

And it still uses Dewalt? Hahah dumb ass people falling for ai

More like sell your house they will take from you in 10 years and buy 3 of these….

Initial cost + maintenance let’s hope it’s profitable

Now that's what I'm talking about! Pulling sheets from a quiver and nailing each shot with precision.

We keep reducing payrolls but when does tech make homes more affordable. Power drills, saws, nail guns, lasers, lifts etc have reduced labor costs but when does the consumer benefit?

Holy shit it uses a cordless Dewalt drill
