ACCELERATOR-BASED LITHOGRAPHY AND THE INDUCTION STORAGE RING LIGHT SOURCE The future of chipmaking may look less like a factory and more like a power grid. The proposed “Terafab” paradigm reimagines semiconductor manufacturing at utility scale: chip design, wafer fabrication, EUV lithography, memory, advanced packaging, and testing all under one roof, with the ambition of producing more than one terawatt of AI compute capacity per year. Free-electron lasers are not. Their wavelength can be tuned through the energy of the electron beam creating a possible path beyond today’s 13.5 nm limit. If realized, Terafab would represent more than a larger semiconductor plant. It would transform lithography from a collection of isolated tools into shared industrial infrastructure. The next era of chipmaking may not be defined by a better machine. It may be defined by an entirely new architecture for manufacturing intelligence at civilization scale.

Everyone else was winding down for the night. Oyin wasn't looking for trouble, she was just looking for sleep. Before you people run with your usual "Oyin is the problem" narrative, let's talk about what actually happened, from the very beginning. Practice had ended, and the house had mostly settled for the night. Oyin came out to prepare her garden bed, the spot she's used since day one, and no one said a word about it. She stepped inside briefly, and in that time, Chimsom took her blanket while Gerard laughed. She came back out, couldn't find it, and even asked Sultex if he knew where it went. Still, she laid down to sleep. Then Chimsom walked over with his chair, sat talking near the bed, and eventually got up and started jumping directly on it while she was lying there. She packed her things and went inside. He then told her she won't be sleeping on that garden bed for as long as he's in the house. Then came the threat, to beat her, to make sure she leaves the house voluntarily or on a stretcher. As if that wasn't enough, we also watched Goddessa talk down on Oyin, belittling how she speaks, as if sounding "local" makes her any less than anyone else in that house. It's a sad reality in Nigeria, those without a silver spoon, or who don't speak with a certain accent, are so often treated as less than. That undertone, acting like she isn't on their level, is exactly the part people conveniently skip over. For those saying Oyin sleeps outside to copy someone, please rest. That habit didn't start today. She's explained before that she struggles with the cold and air conditioning, which is why she sometimes avoids anything that could trigger a reaction. The Trump administration underestimated Iran’s willingness to close the Strait of Hormuz, note many in the media. CNN reported that while the Departments of Energy and the Treasury participated in pre-war planning meetings, “the agency analysis and forecasts that would be integral elements of the decision-making process in past administrations were secondary considerations.” But the Strait of Hormuz was a catastrophe waiting to happen. A few years from now, people will look back on this moment and find it incredible that the world allowed the global economy to be dependent on moving so much oil and natural gas through such a dangerous bottleneck. Part of the solution is for the world to reduce its dependence on Persian Gulf oil and gas. That will require expanding production outside the Persian Gulf. Another part is to help Persian Gulf nations move more of their oil and gas through new or expanded pipelines to the Red Sea and perhaps even the Mediterranean. The faster the world builds those alternatives, the less leverage Iran retains. Many believe that the United States must not allow Iran to control the Strait under any circumstances, and the instinct to fight for Hormuz is understandable. It has been a central artery of global energy for over half a century. But instead of fighting to reopen the Strait, the world should build around it. The infrastructure to do so already exists in embryonic form. Saudi Arabia’s East-West pipeline, built during the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s, carries crude 750 miles across the kingdom from the Gulf coast to the Red Sea port of Yanbu, with a design capacity of 7 million barrels per day. The UAE’s Abu Dhabi Crude Oil Pipeline runs to Fujairah on the Gulf of Oman, bypassing the Strait entirely. And Iraq’s Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline connects to the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. Gulf states are already exploring a broader network of pipelines, railways, and roads, including the U.S.-backed India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), that would create multiple export routes to the Red Sea and the Mediterranean. Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar, which have no bypass pipelines at all, should build routes through Saudi Arabia or Iraq, argued The National, a UAE newspaper. And Japan, South Korea, and India should, the paper argued, invest alongside Gulf sovereign wealth funds. Iran will almost certainly impose tolls on vessels transiting the Strait, as its parliament has already passed a bill to formalize fee collection. A toll of $2 to $5 per barrel, the range analysts expect Iran to charge, would add roughly $40 to $100 billion per year to global energy costs. But more war will cause far more harm than simply building alternatives because every escalation destroys infrastructure that the world needs to produce and export energy. While “all roads” may lead to “structurally higher oil prices,” as one analysis of future scenarios concluded, one of those roads leads to far less damage to people and energy infrastructure. Iran’s strikes on Ras Laffan, Qatar’s LNG hub, will take three to five years to repair. The strikes on South Pars threaten the world’s largest natural gas reserve. Iran’s attacks on Gulf neighbors have damaged refineries, desalination plants, and port facilities across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait. And consider how much more damage is possible. After the US struck Kharg Island, Iran’s main oil export hub, and Israel hit Iran’s largest petrochemical complex at South Pars, the world’s largest natural gas reserve, Iran’s military threatened to “deprive the U.S. and its allies of the region’s oil and gas for years.” As such, the $40 to $100 billion is a fraction of the $2 trillion or more that Goldman Sachs has estimated the war has already cost the global economy in lost output, destroyed infrastructure, and elevated energy prices. And continued war could lead Iran to cut off the flows of existing Saudi oil flows through its East-West pipeline. The largest IPO in history is also shaping up to be the largest exit liquidity operation in history SpaceX went public at more than 90x revenue, and the insiders who bought in at a fraction of today's price are about to start selling their shares to you. Let me walk you through why this IPO is built to separate retail investors from their money: SpaceX has NEVER turned a profit and lost close to $5 billion last year. At the offering you were paying more than 90x revenue and at the peak the market briefly valued it near 140x. 30 years ago the head of Sun Microsystems explained in detail why paying even 10x revenue almost always ends in tears, and he was right. But listen closely, because the valuation is not even the real story. The scarcity is what CREATED this valuation in the first place, and the calendar that kills the scarcity is what kills the price. Less than 5% of SpaceX shares were actually available to trade at the IPO. Then the index committees REWROTE their own rules to fast track the stock into the Nasdaq 100 just 15 trading days after listing, which forced every passive fund and index ETF in the country to buy at the exact moment the float was at its tightest. The Nasdaq inclusion alone forced an estimated $4.3 billion of buying, and the Russell reweighting added roughly $3 billion more. The supply was minuscule and the buying was mandatory. That's a manufactured squeeze, and it is why the stock went above $225 in its first week. Now watch what happens next, because this is the part they ain't explaining to you: The lockup was staggered on purpose, and the entire schedule is sitting in the prospectus for anyone who bothers to read it. In early August, right after Q2 earnings, 20% of the locked shares come free. Another 10% unlocks early if the stock trades 30% above the $135 IPO price going into the report. Then tranches of 7% hit the market at 70, 90, 105, 120 and 135 days after the IPO, which means fresh insider supply lands roughly every 2 to 3 weeks from late August through late October. Q3 earnings triggers the single biggest release of all, another 28%, roughly 1.3 billion shares. On December 8 the 180 day lockup expires entirely. And on June 12, 2027 comes the final wave, when Musk's own 6.4 billion shares, 42% of the whole company, become sellable for the first time. Add it all up and insiders could be free to sell as much as 44% of the company by early September, which would balloon the tradable float by roughly 900%. All of that supply lands on a stock the company deliberately packed with retail, because SpaceX reserved close to 30% of the offering for individual investors vs the usual 10%. This deal created over 4,400 paper millionaires inside the company. You think none of them are looking to cash out? Early holders are already loading up on puts to lock in what they have. First they keep the float tiny. Then they let the index rules force the world to buy at the top. Then they release a flood of insider stock into a crowd of retail buyers who were handed the shares up high. When the price finally breaks the offering level, the people who got in years ago at pennies on today's dollar will hit the bid, and the exit liquidity is your retirement account. And what are you actually left holding? Strip away the science fiction and the only business inside SpaceX that reliably earns money is Starlink, which produced $1.2 billion of operating income last quarter. A wonderful business worth hundreds of billions on its best day. NOT $2 trillion. Serious fair value work lands around $30 a share. Nobody has been a bigger bear on this deal than me. I called it out the moment it started trading, and it is already playing out on schedule as the shares have given back the entire squeeze and slipped below their opening print. I was Peter Lynch's auto analyst back in 1981 and I have watched every disaster since, and I am telling you this is one of the great wealth transfers of my lifetime packed into a fancy narrative. Tesla was the biggest misallocation of capital in the history of stock markets. SpaceX may have just surpassed it. SPCX goes straight onto my short list, and the beauty of this setup is that the catalyst is not a guess or something, it is literally a PUBLISHED CALENDAR. This is the most grossly overpriced stock at scale that I have ever seen.

A 'Western' versus 'Indian' breakfast? Huge Instagram handles peddling intense health misinformation on nutrition like this one from a Yoga lady who has rented out her brain, gets maximum engagement when they glorify an "Indian" veggie breakfast over the "synthetic and processed" Western breakfast, especially in the context of cereals and use of milk and fruits. Mixing fruits and milk according to Ayurvedic principles is disastrous. The pseudoscience claims that this combination destroys the Agni (digestive fire) in us when cold foods are consumed in the morning when Agni is at its lowest. This is utter nonsense. There is no 'cold' and 'hot' concept in nutrition. And there is no digestive fire. This is total mockery of nutritional science that has been mentioned in classical Ayurvedic texts and has no realistic objective meaning or measures to prove it. A strawberry shake or a banana shake in the morning is not going to kill you. It is an excellent source of proteins and vitamins and required calories after an overnight fasting state. And there is absolutely no evidence that a breakfast of boxed cereals is harmful. In fact, most cereals are fortified with many minerals, vitamins and other micro nutrients which help people attain targets for recommended daily intake. Look at these studies and do not skip breakfast or shy away from fortified foods. 1/ The daily consumption of fortified cereal with milk for 12 weeks by adolescent girls, increased intakes of micronutrients - 2/ Ready to eat breakfast food consumption was associated with higher daily micronutrients intake than breakfast skippers and with with better macronutrient intake and healthier food and beverage consumption - and 3/ This evidence based study that looked at breakfast cereal use states that breakfast cereal consumption was associated with diets higher in vitamins and minerals and lower in fat and a lower body mass index and less risk of being overweight or obese - 4/ Ready to eat cereal breakfasts contribute to greater nutrient intake and diet quality in children and adults without increasing total daily meal costs - 5/ Ready to eat breakfast cereals do not contribute to obesity or metabolic diseases - 6/ Fruit smoothies for breakfast provide energy dense options with good nutritional quality and can help reduce calorie intake throughout the day - 7/ Including fruit smoothies improved fruit based consumption in school going children to meet their macro/micro nutrient needs - 8/ Including milk-based diets (shakes), i.e., increased dairy intake as part of energy restricted diets resulted in greater loss in bodyweight and fat mass while attenuating lean mass loss in 18–50-year-old adults - Remember, for your nutritional needs or advise, please see/follow your clinical doctor (not Ayush) or a registered clinical nutritionist and not some "pleased-to-meet-you-perpetually-smily-faced-let-me-monetize-your-stupidity" Yoga peddlers on Instagram who has no idea about human anatomy and physiology. Technical details and the sheer amount of work (and incredible talent) that went into some 80s games completely eluded you as a kid. You simply loved the game and never thought twice about it. Now, being much older, I often find myself looking back at those classics and diving into the technical details: Who created it? How long did it take? Was it a solo project? And most mind-blowing of all: what was the actual size of the game? That last part especially makes my brain melt, and the older I get, the more it sinks in. What those early programmers achieved can only be described as pure genius (and I don’t use that word lightly). Hardware no longer feels like a limiting factor in modern gaming. We have endless megabytes of RAM, terabytes of storage space, and lightning-fast internet. Forty years ago, it was essentially the Stone Age by comparison. An average picture you save on your phone or PC has a size of around 400 kilobytes. It’s just a static image, it doesn’t do anything. Now divide that by ten and you drop to 40 kilobytes. That’s roughly the size of The Last Ninja, developed by System 3 and published almost four decades ago in 1987. It was a single 5.25" floppy disk. I still struggle to comprehend how programmers back then achieved what they did - the incredibly immersive worlds they created under such limitations. I was simply blown away by the graphics (that gorgeous isometric view on the C64, packed with amazing detail) and absolutely mesmerized by the kickass sound. What Ben Daglish and Anthony Lees conjured up musically is an iconic masterpiece that will forever be part of gaming history. And that’s not all! The game also gave you some degree of freedom. It wasn’t strictly linear. You could go back and forth, revisit locations if you missed an item, choose to fight or sneak past enemies, hunt for the right objects and levers to progress, and so on. All of that (and more) in just 40 kilobytes - less than 10% the size of a single static photo on your computer that has zero functionality. Oh, and the cherry on the cake? Often those games were created by people without formal education in the field, they were mostly self-taught. They also didn't have any software tools and libraries like today, they wrote pretty much everything from scratch, going beyond what was thought to be technically possible. As a kid you have no clue. As an adult I still don't have a clue how they did it. But I have a lot more appreciation and admiration for their work. And I am glad I experienced it then and can enjoy it even now.

Anthropic just accidentally leaked the most dangerous AI model ever built. They literally left 3,000 internal documents sitting in a publicly searchable database. No encryption. No access controls. Just... open. A security researcher found them before Anthropic even knew they were exposed. Inside those documents was a draft blog post describing a model called "Claude Mythos." Anthropic's own internal language: Mythos is "currently far ahead of any other AI model in cyber capabilities" and will trigger "a wave of models that can exploit vulnerabilities in ways that far outpace the efforts of defenders." That's the company that BUILT it warning about their own creation. Mythos sits in a brand new model tier called "Capybara." Bigger and more powerful than anything they've ever released. Dramatically higher scores in coding, reasoning, and cybersecurity compared to their current best. The market reaction was immediate: CrowdStrike dropped 7%. Palo Alto Networks fell 6%. Zscaler down 5%. Okta, SentinelOne, Fortinet all crashed. The Global X Cybersecurity ETF hit its lowest level since November 2023. Billions in market cap evaporated in a single trading session because of a draft blog post that wasn't supposed to be public yet. But here's where it gets truly absurd... Anthropic is the company that brands itself as the "responsible AI" lab. The one that refused to let the Pentagon use Claude without restrictions. The one that got BLACKLISTED by the Trump administration for being too cautious. They literally sued the government over it. A federal judge called the Pentagon's ban "Orwellian." So the US government punished Anthropic for being too careful with AI safety. Then 3 weeks later, Anthropic accidentally exposes their most dangerous model because someone misconfigured a content management system. They can't secure a WordPress-level database setting. But they're building AI that can autonomously hunt and exploit zero-day vulnerabilities at machine speed. Also in those leaked files: Details about a private, invite-only CEO retreat at an 18th-century English countryside manor. Dario Amodei attending personally. Designed to sell Mythos to Europe's biggest corporate buyers. The playbook: Build the most dangerous cyber weapon in AI history, host billionaires at a castle to sell it, and store the whole plan in an unprotected public folder. The entire cybersecurity industry is built on cataloging known threats. Mythos finds unknown ones faster than humans can respond. That's an extinction event for an entire sector. But there was also just ANOTHER leak: A leaked Coatue investor deck revealed Anthropic will LOSE $14 billion this year on $18 billion in revenue. Coatue still projected them to be worth $2 TRILLION by 2030. They put $30 billion behind that bet. Polymarket opened live betting on when Mythos drops. Traders give it a 45% chance by June 30th. OpenAI finished pretraining their own frontier model codenamed "Spud" the same week. Both companies are now racing to release before their IPOs later this year. And the one detail that's really scary: Chinese state hackers already used Claude Code, the WEAKER model before Mythos, to autonomously infiltrate 30 organizations including banks and government agencies. That was the less powerful model. Mythos is dramatically more capable. Anthropic's response to leaking 3,000 confidential documents? "Human error in the configuration of our content management system." The company warning the world about AI risk just demonstrated exactly why everyone should be worried. Not because of what AI might do someday. Because the people building it can't even keep their own files locked.

The US Ambassador to China recently visited Rokid, a technology company in Zhejiang, with Steve Daines. And something interesting happened: U.S. Ambassador to China David Perdue didn’t just try the company’s AI glasses. He bought a pair. That made me curious: what exactly was so compelling that he decided to pull out his wallet halfway through the visit? So I looked into it. They don't look all that different from regular fashionable glasses. But here's what makes them special: The lenses are actually displays. The glasses weigh less than 50 grams, so they won't feel especially bulky on your face. They support four hours of continuous voice calls, or six hours of music playback, come with a 12-megapixel camera, and even charge through a tiny magnetic charger that simply snaps onto the glasses. Once you put them on, you can use them for teleprompter prompts, navigation, payment, and real-time translation in up to 90 languages. So basically, you can give a speech anywhere, travel almost anywhere, and just wing it. And there's another use that could be even more meaningful: accessibility. For blind and visually impaired users, the glasses can provide voice guidance, helping them understand where to go and navigate the world around them more independently. What's also impressive is their visual recognition capability. What does that mean? You see something, but you have no idea what it is. In the past, your first instinct would be to pull out your phone, take a picture, and search for it. With this pair of glasses, it might be much simpler: You just look at it. The camera recognizes the object in front of you, AI analyzes it, and the answer appears in front of your eyes. In an industrial setting, when a worker is facing a complicated piece of equipment, the glasses can help identify machines and components, and even guide them through the next step in the process.
