Update on the STONES Collection. 1. Staking is approaching! We have been working on two staking approaches: one entirely on-chain with FluidTokens on Bitcoin, and the other with the talented specifically developed for the BLOCK and STONES collections! Very soon, you’ll be able to stake your stones to earn even more LORD.OF.THE.STONES. The staking launch is scheduled for the beginning of next week. 2. Instead of solid fuel rods sitting in water under high pressure, these systems run at much higher temperatures but at atmospheric pressure, which dramatically reduces the risk of explosions or meltdowns. The salt can flow over solid fuel, or the fuel can be mixed directly into the coolant. Both approaches are being actively developed. Why this matters: • MSRs operate at high temperatures, making them potentially much more efficient at generating electricity and process heat • Low-pressure operation makes them inherently safer than conventional water-cooled reactors • Some designs can burn existing nuclear waste or use thorium as fuel • The technology could support everything from advanced power generation to hydrogen production and industrial heat The deeper implication: For decades, nuclear power has been dominated by one basic design concept. Molten salt reactors represent a fundamental rethink using a liquid that can act as both coolant and fuel. This opens the door to reactors that are safer, more flexible, and potentially capable of solving some of nuclear energy’s biggest historical challenges (waste, fuel efficiency, and public perception of safety). This is one week of rebuilding Soccer Pinball Pro with Astra + Unity CLI. Day 1 vs Day 7. I see so many people on here one-shotting these incredible systems and games, and I’m constantly blown away by what people are building. But my approach with this has been a little different. This isn’t a new game or an experiment. It’s a rebuild of a game I originally made in 2019, and I’ve been trying to stay true to what made that game fun while finally building everything I wanted it to be back then. In seven days I’ve gone from getting the basic game working in a different engine to rebuilding the players, improving the AI, adding passing, tackles, bicycle kicks, better ball feedback, dynamic camera movement, new lighting and shadows, grass, a new scoreboard, goal effects, and an actual PvE match mode. And I’ve been able to iterate on all of it almost as quickly as I can think of things to change. But the important part is that this is my vision. It isn’t a screenshot or concept I pulled from somewhere and asked Astra/Codex to recreate. This is a game and an idea I’ve had sitting in the back of my mind for years. I executed on that idea in 2019, but what I was capable of making then was nowhere near what I had actually envisioned. Unity itself is still probably the slowest part of this workflow. Waiting on compiles, entering play mode, importing, building, and all those little interruptions add up. Unity 7 intends to address a lot of that, which makes me even more curious about where this workflow goes next. The part that excites me most isn’t just how much I can build in a week. It’s realizing I can go back to ideas I had years ago and finally build the games I saw in my head at the time. That has completely changed how I’m thinking about game development. The Visual Studio Code insiders version that just shipped and will ship in the next few days will come with an insane amount of new capabilities. A few highlights: - You can now run sub-agents in parallel. Yes, really. For the past three to four years now, I usually go on holiday twice a year — one international solo trip and one local family vacation. I do go for my solo vacation in spring and our family holiday is during the summer when the kids are on school break. Schools have finally shutdown for summer break last week and the kids are already all pumped up for our family vacation which will be coming up in few weeks from now. We haven't yet gone for our family summer vacation for this year but babe has already started making plans for our 2027 summer holiday. Last weekend, she brought up the idea of just the two of us going on a boat cruise next summer. She wants it to be just me and her without the kids. She suggested that we bring in a family member on invitation from Naija, such that there will be a family at home with the kids while we both go on a lovey-dovey boat cruise to western Europe. She advised that we should start saving up for the adventure by September. This woman and long term planning are five and six, and that virtue has been very helpful in helping us avoid financial pressure. We do everything with ease, thanks to her wisdom. For instance, two weeks before the end of the session that ended last week, we have already bought the kids school uniforms for 2026/27 academic session that will be starting in September; thanks to my wife's wisdom. If she hasn't suggested it, it wouldn't have even crossed my mind at all. I am awake now, staring at this beautiful woman sleeping peacefully next to me and I feel nothing but joy in my heart and total love for her. I am really blessed to have someone like her as my better half. I am the often chaotic and the more expressive person while she is the calm, quiet and better organised one. We perfectly compliment each other. It'll be our 12th anniversary in exactly a month's time from now, and I really look forward to our anniversary getaway weekend. Cheers to forever, baby.
