Another exceptionally intelligent motorist using a level crossing. Don't wanna damage the barrier or scratch my car's paint so I guess I've got not choice but to let the big heavy train plough into me at 100km/h 🤷

Stephen Miller: "If you had a choice between a doll from China that might have lead paint from it that is not as well constructed, as a doll made in America that has a highly environmental and regulatory standard ... and those two products are both on Amazon, that yes, you probably would be willing to pay more."

Glass-bottled water may contain more microplastic particles than plastic bottles The contamination appears to come mainly from polyester-based paint on metal caps, which can shed larger plastic particles into the liquid during bottling But there’s nuance: the particles in glass bottles tend to be larger and less absorbable, while plastic bottles also expose you to BPA and phthalates Glass remains the safer choice when you're on the go, but a home water filter with a reusable BPA-free bottle is the best long-term solution

There are thousands of Epstein files. They have names in them. Child rapists. Real ones. And nobody is touching them. Now look at where the energy is going instead. A task force. Overtime. A press conference. For a guy who touched some some water and maybe some peeling paint at the reflecting pool. Read that again. That's the whole game right there. They are counting on you to be too busy, too tired, too distracted to ask the one question that matters: why are the actual predators safe while the Ex Olympian paint guy gets the manhunt? Here's what I know. When someone shows you what they protect and what they punish, believe them. That is not a mistake. That is a choice. Every single time. So don't look away. Ask the question. Say it out loud. Because the moment enough people stop watching the wrong hand, the trick stops working. ~Mitch

During a “ Yoruba STATE “ Election Igbos moved their PVC to Yoruba state so they could block vote for someone the Yorubas do not want on the seat to Govern them .. Hear this again. Igbos left their state “ Igbo land “ came to Yoruba land in thousands to vote against the choice of the majority of Yorubas in their land... Is like Yorubas going to Igbo land in thousands just to vote against Alex Otti so he can lose the election despite Igbos telling Yorubas they don’t like Alex Otti's opposition... Even after who they voted for in Yoruba land lost, the Igbos didn’t stop at nothing. They spiral into cursing, abusing, gaslighting, spreading false narratives to paint the Yorubas bad, bullying and disrespecting Yorubas and Yoruba elders Something Yorubas would not do in Igboland... There’s one Nigeria “ that belongs to everyone “ and there are states “ that belong to tribes “Let that sink in No-nonsense

Every morning you have a choice. You can wake up carrying your bags from yesterday. Dragging all the days before it. Already tired from the weight of what you know, what you've done, what you have to do. Or you can wake up new. I choose new. I wake up and start every day as if it is my first day. Not a single past failure clouds my mind. Musings and worries of the future are completely absent. This is not denial. This is not forgetting. This is creating space. Space to paint a new canvas with the originality of the moment. Without this space, life becomes repetitive. The same thoughts loop. The same feelings return. The same patterns play out again and again. You become a machine running old programs. Conformity thrives on this repetition. But freshness breaks the pattern. When you approach each day as your first day, you're not bound by who you were yesterday or limited by what failed last week. You're not trapped in the story you've been telling yourself. You are simply here. Now. Relaxed. Show up as you are. Raw and real and present. Nature will meet you there. The cold will meet you there. Your true self will meet you there. This is celebration. Not of achievement or success or arriving somewhere but a celebration of life itself. Of being here and feeling everything. Start with a deep breath. Right now. -Wim Hof

THE MYTH THAT AFRICANS ‘SOLD THEIR PEOPLE’ Europeans have attempted to distance themselves from - and avoid accountability for - their atrocities during the centuries-long slave trade by propelling narratives that it was Africans who sold them slaves. On this version, Africans share the blame for the horrors faced by Black people. During his opening remarks on African identity and the decolonisation of education in Africa and the Caribbean at the University of West Indies in Jamaica, at the PJ Patterson Institute for Africa Caribbean Advocacy, vice chancellor Hilary Beckles spoke about the importance of reclaiming our narratives. As Beckles puts it, when history is told from the gunman's perspective, you inevitably get a distorted picture. Beckles dispels the myth that Africans willingly sold their fellow Africans into slavery. While he notes that there were certainly corrupt individuals back then, just as there are now, they were a minority. In Nazi Germany, for example, there were Jewish people who collaborated with the regime, yet no one blames them for the Holocaust. So why is this the line of argument used when it comes to slavery? Most Africans who took part in the slave trade did so for survival and did not have much of a choice. When European narratives paint our ancestors as 'business partners,' it is misleading - a business partner is free to not partake in a business venture without consequences, whereas Africans were not. Moreover, Europeans exacerbated divisions amongst our people, spurring ethnic conflict and wars amongst Africans. It was often ‘prisoners of war’ who were bought by Europeans from Africans. The European narrative has been used to further divide Black people across the world, thus continuing the divide-and-conquer tactics that have ensured African disunity and exploitation for centuries.
