Getting blasted on IG about painting my raw edges instead of sewing them🥴

Y’all for the love of fursuits, this is like my 10+ suit made on this base and I’ve done this with all of them. Do you criticize artists who hid raw edges with airbrushing? Lemme make suits how I wanna make suits with my 9 years of experience thank you

The base is by Nuke creations and is 3d printed, which means 0 flexibility. Making furring and shaving very difficult. Also not the mention the nose is the size of a quarter. This is a wearable art piece- God forbid it’s not indestructible or perfect 🥴

Not sure why people are treating this any differently than airbrushing or dry brushing on markings; as long as work is durable and looking good in photos then any technique is valid! Keep doing what you’re doing 💪

Wait, people are throwing a fit over this? Why?? It’s such a valid technique that allows for seamless and clean results that has done its job for YEARS and doesn’t harm the suit’s quality!

Folks are wild about paint on suits. Big name long time makers been doing this for YEARS and no one bats an eye. Very standard practice on resin and realistic heads. This is much cleaner than dealing with a bulky seam around such a tiny nose.

Truly it’s this type of reaction that makes me really avoid doing heads. Because what if I do something that the majority doesn’t like and then I get “cancelled” because I used sharpie to hide a microscopic white thread. I can’t with ppl fr.

I always wondered how people got that look on the nose!!! I always thought it was really cute and adds a bit of “shading”! I had no idea it was as easy as paint. Okay to ask what kind of paint you use?

People are so fucking stupid it amazes me, this is NOT A NEW THING. Airbrushed or painted markings are pretty common??? I'm sick of people who don't make suits having opinions about suits
