Hali, a military analyst and former Pakistani Air Force colonel, shared his views with Sputnik: 🔸 This bilateral format fills a gap that multilateral platforms like the SCO and the UN cannot address — they are slow and constrained by bureaucracy. 🔸 Pakistan values Russia's counter-terrorism experience from Syria and the North Caucasus, particularly in urban warfare, drone suppression, and counter-insurgency. Cooperation with Moscow also provides Pakistan with political cover within the SCO and the UN, reinforcing its image as a responsible stakeholder in regional security. 🔸 Russia's expertise in surveillance, cyber defense, and counter-drone systems complements Pakistan's operational needs. In return, Pakistan offers decades of counter-insurgency experience, including counter-IED tactics, hostage rescue, and urban clearance operations. 🔸 Its border management expertise — especially along the porous Afghan frontier — offers insights into infiltration patterns. 7 years ago Brian Toon, a professor of physics who trained under Carl Sagan, had a talk about what a nuclear exchange between India & Pakistan would do. The scientific estimate was that aside from those killed in the nuclear war, 1-2 billion people all over the world would likely starve to death within months. The social and political consequences of such mass death on a global scale would be unfathomable. Since this assessment was made, India and Pakistan have improved the quality and authenticity of their nuclear weapons and added scores of warheads to their respective arsenals. And India is now ruled by a government that actually fired nuclear payload capable missiles into Pakistan during the recent crisis. Since Pakistan had no way of knowing what the payload was until the missiles were neutralised or exploded, it was within its rights to use nukes. Which would be the end not just of India and Pakistan but also of much of human civilisation. Fortunately, Pakistan chose to risk absorbing a possible Indian nuclear strike & it turned out the missiles were carrying conventional warheads. But this restraint might not materialise during another crisis. Every country in the world needs India & Pakistan to start getting along. Not out of some pacifist idealism but because of the real risk to their own survival.

Pakistan bought 349 train bogies from China, only to discover once they arrived, that they don’t even fit on Pakistan's tracks. Classic! And to top of it , China’s reply, "Not our problem. You signed off on it." Apparently, it was up to Pakistan to check if their own tracks could handle the new arrivals. So now, these bogies have basically become decorative stuff because, well, these can’t move.😄😁😜

Your video misrepresents reality. You claimed Pakistani PM did not name Israel while condemnimg attack on Iran . WRONG Iran only thanked Pakistan, China, and Russia at the UN for condemning Israel. Shehbaz Sharif has called Israel an aggressor in his tweets number of times and Iranian Parliament chanted "Tashakkur Pakistan" last year for Its unconditional support for Iran. You claimed IK was asked that will you give US bases for attack on Iran. WRONG An anchor only asked about CIA operations in Pakistan. Nothing about Iran was discussed. Meanwhile Trump confirmed that Imran Khan was elated by Iran's Army Commander Qasim Soleimani’s assassination. IK has never condemned Israeli attacks on Iran, including when her sister met him in jail on June 13, 2025 during Iran- Israel war. Only IK is the person who talks about denuclearization of Pakistan.
