📍 Podcast with Col Bashir (Special Operations) China gives us weapon systems which we usually deploy on Indian front, meanwhile Pakistan remains focused on acquiring US weapons for Counterterrorism. Col Bashir rightly pointed that China would empower us that would serve their purpose and strengthen our deterrence against India (like providing J-10C, HQ-16, HQ-9, J-35 etc) but US' is more invested towards battling proxies like TTP etc. But both of the powers would toe their line of interests. Ultimately we need to go towards indigenous equipment, which we're doing so steadily.

China 🇨🇳 and Pakistan 🇵🇰 can easily train against Indian 🇮🇳 Rafale and Mirage 2000 jets because those planes are not unique to India. The Indian Air Force (IAF) can never practice against frontline Chinese and Pakistani fighters such as the J-20, J-35, J-16, J-10C and JF-17. Pakistan 🇵🇰 already eliminated Rafale and Mirage 2000 in the last conflict and can share that real data with China 🇨🇳 to improve tactics against India 🇮🇳.

Pakistan and 🇨🇳 China jointly submitted a resolution at the U.N. to declare the BLA as a terrorist organization. 🇺🇸 US vetoed it at the behest of 🇮🇳 India. This means that the US wants to keep its hand in Balochistan. - Najam Sethi.

I always hoped Somalia would partner with Pakistan to rebuild its air force. Seeing it happen now is something special. Why Pakistan? Because you have to respect the determination and innovation of a country that became a nuclear power against the will of the entire world. Alhamdulillah. ❤️ 🇸🇴🤝🇵🇰

🇺🇸🇨🇳 Trump on Nvidia chips and China: "They have a much higher level than H200. China needs it and yeah it came up. They choose not to buy because they want to develop their own. I think something could happen on that." Trump confirmed China wants chips beyond the H200 while simultaneously trying to build its own. That race just got more interesting.

Q: If another war breaks out between India 🇮🇳 and Pakistan 🇵🇰 like in May 2025, Would Türkiye and Saudi Arabia only give verbal support, or would they provide Pakistan with weapons? Pak MoD Khawaja Asif : Whatever is included in this agreement will eventually be made public. As I said before, the details will come out. But the agreement was signed only today, so I don’t think it is appropriate to discuss its details right now.

Pakistan delivers Saudi message to Iran to restrain Houthis. 🇮🇷 🇵🇰 Could Pkistan get involved in Houthi - Saudi conflict? This isn't just a hypothetical anymore. As for whether Houthis could actually strike Pakistan directly, geography makes that genuinely difficult. Their most capable weapons max out around two thousand kilometers. Getting militarily involved would carry real risk for Pakistan specifically. Its own forces are already stretched fighting a separate war along the Afghan border. Pakistan is using the pact as a deterrent, not a trigger. Whether that holds depends on what Saudi Arabia does next, and how far Iran lets this go.

🪖🇷🇺🇵🇰 Russia and Pakistan step up counter-terrorism cooperation The 12th meeting of the Russian-Pakistani Working Group on Countering International Terrorism was recently held in Islamabad. Sultan M. Hali, a military analyst and former Pakistani Air Force colonel, shared his views with Sputnik: 🔸 This bilateral format fills a gap that multilateral platforms like the SCO and the UN cannot address — they are slow and constrained by bureaucracy. 🔸 Pakistan values Russia's counter-terrorism experience from Syria and the North Caucasus, particularly in urban warfare, drone suppression, and counter-insurgency. Cooperation with Moscow also provides Pakistan with political cover within the SCO and the UN, reinforcing its image as a responsible stakeholder in regional security. 🔸 Russia's expertise in surveillance, cyber defense, and counter-drone systems complements Pakistan's operational needs. In return, Pakistan offers decades of counter-insurgency experience, including counter-IED tactics, hostage rescue, and urban clearance operations. 🔸 Its border management expertise — especially along the porous Afghan frontier — offers insights into infiltration patterns. Pakistan's deradicalization programs, such as the Sabaoon initiative in Swat, provide lessons beyond kinetic operations that could prove valuable for Russia in Central Asia. "This meeting should be seen not as a one-off event, but as part of a longer trajectory," Hali noted. He added that Russia is diversifying beyond its traditional partnerships with China and India, while Pakistan is broadening its security diplomacy beyond ties to the US, Saudi Arabia, and China.

7 years ago Brian Toon, a professor of physics who trained under Carl Sagan, had a talk about what a nuclear exchange between India & Pakistan would do. The scientific estimate was that aside from those killed in the nuclear war, 1-2 billion people all over the world would likely starve to death within months. The social and political consequences of such mass death on a global scale would be unfathomable. Since this assessment was made, India and Pakistan have improved the quality and authenticity of their nuclear weapons and added scores of warheads to their respective arsenals. And India is now ruled by a government that actually fired nuclear payload capable missiles into Pakistan during the recent crisis. Since Pakistan had no way of knowing what the payload was until the missiles were neutralised or exploded, it was within its rights to use nukes. Which would be the end not just of India and Pakistan but also of much of human civilisation. Fortunately, Pakistan chose to risk absorbing a possible Indian nuclear strike & it turned out the missiles were carrying conventional warheads. But this restraint might not materialise during another crisis. Every country in the world needs India & Pakistan to start getting along. Not out of some pacifist idealism but because of the real risk to their own survival.
