Pakistan's oppression of occupied #Kashmir is worsening. As the world's attention is largely fixated on the war between Israel and Hamas in the Middle East, unrest has erupted in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in South Asia. Tensions are rising in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) as the Pakistani government has been deploying troops from Punjab Province to suppress the imminent protests in the region due May 11. The protests aim to address the Kashmiri people's economic, social and political problems that Pakistan's government has failed to solve. The United Kashmir People's National Party (UKPNP) and the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) have issued warnings to the government of Pakistan against the use of any force against protestors. The warnings have apparently been ignored as Pakistan mobilized its troops to the area, leading to more protests. Historical background info: "In 1947, the Princely State of Jammu and Kashmir became part of the Republic of #India. Shortly thereafter, Pakistani armed forces and Pashtun tribesmen invaded the area, forcing the largest Kashmiri political party to approve the accession. Indian forces were deployed to counter the attacks by Pakistan. In 1948, the UN Security Council passed Resolution 47 requiring all Pakistani military personnel to withdraw from the region before a plebiscite—which would have confirmed the people’s wishes to join India—could be called. Instead of this Pakistan increased its military presence, and no plebiscite was held. In the areas of Kashmir which remained outside of India, Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, 41,000 Hindu families were forced to flee from Pashtun tribesmen. "The historic region of Kashmir has a total area of 85,807 sq. miles and is now divided between three countries. Pakistan occupies approximately 30,160 sq. miles, known as (PoK) and the Northern Areas." Clashes between Pakistani troops and Kashmiri locals are expected to further escalate. #Breaking 𝐄𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐤 : 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧'𝐬 𝐈𝐒𝐈 ‼️ 🔺A Colonel from the #IndianArmy’s South Western Command (Sapta Shakti Command) gone missing after being involved in a major espionage case involving the leak of sensitive military information to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). The officer, escaped several days ago, is now at the center of an intensive manhunt by India’s top intelligence agencies. The Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and Military Intelligence (MI) have been jointly leading the search for the Colonel, but five days into the operation, there has been no trace of his whereabouts. His disappearance has sparked alarm across the country’s security and defense apparatus, raising serious concerns over internal breaches and intelligence lapses. The Colonel's escape has triggered a sweeping counterintelligence operation aimed at dismantling what is believed to be a wider espionage network within the Indian Army South western command. Indian authorities suspect several of his alleged associates, including another officers, are now also present in the South Western command. 🔴 Indian media reported just a day ago the arrest of Sunil Kumar, a 26-year-old cobbler from Samastipur, Bihar. Employed for the past eight years at Bathinda Cantonment, Kumar was detained by Indian authorities on charges of espionage. 🔴 However, his arrest is an attempt by intelligence agencies to deflect attention from the real breach — the Colonel's escape — and to fabricate a success in an otherwise faltering investigation. Kumar, a civilian with limited access, have been used as a scapegoat in a calculated move by Indian intelligence. Sources also claim: the cobbler arrest was to instill panic among the Colonel’s network and provoke actionable missteps from others under surveillance. However, the strategy has so far failed to yield any concrete results. 🔴 The missing Colonel was part of the Indian Army's 10 Corps, "Chetak Corps." His position granted him access to highly sensitive military sites and classified information. Over a period of several years, he and his associates passed critical documents to Pakistan's ISI. 🔴 The leaked intelligence is said to include detailed information on South Western Command operations, artillery deployments, logistical frameworks, the 615 Air Defence Brigade, and a key ammunition depot in Bathinda. The incident has sent shockwaves through the indian intelligence community. Despite extensive surveillance operations and an ongoing internal probe across the 10 Corps and South Western Command, the agencies have been unable to track down the missing officer or identify the full extent of his network. This developing situation is fast becoming one of the most serious espionage breaches in recent Indian military history, exposing not only a dangerous leak but also critical flaws in the country’s counterintelligence capabilities. #Pakistan #India #PakistanArmy #IndianArmy #Modi #IndiaPakistanWar
