Following Indian precision airstrikes on Rawalpindi, marid & Shorkot airbases, and Indian drone strikes on the Pakistani capital of Islamabad, Pakistan has launched its retaliation for the Indian strikes, dubbed "Operation Ironclad Wall". Reports state that 300-400 drones were used to overload 26+ Indian Air Defence, before military sites were struck with Ballistic and Cruise Missiles, including Pathankot/Jalandhar airbases, Air Defence systems in Udhampur and Srinagar airbases, and a weapons depot in Chandigarh, as well as a number of positions along the line of control in Kashmir. There are probably more impacts than just this. Among the casualties of the attacks was Indian Kashmir & Jammu Deputy District Development Commissioner Raj Kumar, although he was apparently killed in cross-border artillery shelling. Interestingly, a Pakistani missile was allegedly intercepted by Indian Air Defence near the Indian capital of New Delhi, however this is currently unconfirmed. In 2018, he co-authored "The Spy Chronicles: RAW, ISI and the Illusion of Peace" with Asad Durrani, former Chief of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan. Similar to how Morarji Desai is believed to have destroyed R&AW's capabilities in Pakistan, Dulat is accused of undermining IB assets in Kashmir. As the world's attention is largely fixated on the war between Israel and Hamas in the Middle East, unrest has erupted in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in South Asia. Tensions are rising in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) as the Pakistani government has been deploying troops from Punjab Province to suppress the imminent protests in the region due May 11. The protests aim to address the Kashmiri people's economic, social and political problems that Pakistan's government has failed to solve. The United Kashmir People's National Party (UKPNP) and the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) have issued warnings to the government of Pakistan against the use of any force against protestors. The warnings have apparently been ignored as Pakistan mobilized its troops to the area, leading to more protests. Historical background info: "In 1947, the Princely State of Jammu and Kashmir became part of the Republic of #India. Shortly thereafter, Pakistani armed forces and Pashtun tribesmen invaded the area, forcing the largest Kashmiri political party to approve the accession. Indian authorities suspect several of his alleged associates, including another officers, are now also present in the South Western command. 🔴 Indian media reported just a day ago the arrest of Sunil Kumar, a 26-year-old cobbler from Samastipur, Bihar. Employed for the past eight years at Bathinda Cantonment, Kumar was detained by Indian authorities on charges of espionage. 🔴 However, his arrest is an attempt by intelligence agencies to deflect attention from the real breach — the Colonel's escape — and to fabricate a success in an otherwise faltering investigation. Kumar, a civilian with limited access, have been used as a scapegoat in a calculated move by Indian intelligence. Sources also claim: the cobbler arrest was to instill panic among the Colonel’s network and provoke actionable missteps from others under surveillance. However, the strategy has so far failed to yield any concrete results. 🔴 The missing Colonel was part of the Indian Army's 10 Corps, "Chetak Corps."
