On the paper, there's a clear count of how many times fans tilted their heads toward Ling (L), toward Orm (O), or toward both (LO) while taking photos during the first FMT in Bangkok. And when you look at Orm’s numbers, it's painfully low 🙂 First of all, I completely disagree with and feel very disgusted by this kind of behavior. What pisses me off even more is the double standard. Why is it that when Orm is the one being hurt, people tend to stay silent, as if it’s normal? Yet when it happens to someone else, suddenly the outrage is everywhere. Why is that? Because Orm is humble? Because she always smiles and pretends to be okay, so people think it’s fine to overlook her pain? Orm has been enduring this kind of treatment since the very beginning. It’s not something recent. It’s not something that happened once. It’s been happening again and again, and it’s still happening now. None of Orm’s fans are okay with this, I am not okay with this too, honestly sick of it. But I’ve accepted that, with a fandom this big, we can’t control everything. Still, there are many people who respect both of them, and that gives me a bit of peace But let’s be clear, accepting pain doesn’t mean it’s justified. Most people's minds are wired to seek safety, comfort, to avoid embarrassment or failure. Reduce risk as much as possible. Don't stand out. Don't attempt high greatness, because the fall if it doesn't succeed would be too embarrassing and painful. I actually had this mentality impressed on me from a powerful scene in the film 'Troy'. What made Achilles so unusual, what set him apart from other men? The boy is just being honest. "I've seen the Thessalonian you're fighting. He's the biggest man I've ever seen! I wouldn't want to fight him!" What would 99% of people say to that? "Yeah, this is gonna be a tough fight!" "I'm a warrior, this is what I do." "War is all hell." There's like a million things that different men would've said to that. The boy's telling him, "You're about to risk it all against a very big dangerous opponent! You could die! Maybe you can get out of it! You don't want to die, do you?" Well, what does Achilles reveal about himself in his response? He looks at the boy and he tells him something TRUE but does he does in a very cold way. "That is why no one will remember your name." And he rides away to battle. Why did Achilles react that way to what the boy said to him? Achilles understands how MOST PEOPLE THINK. ANyONe Protocol is an interesting DePIN focused on building a more decentralized internet and making our privacy more secure 💯 I'm still waiting to release a video because the new Dashboard isn't active yet but for those interested the most important points that I want to highlight are these: 1) The #Miner is Plug&Play so easy to install, just follow the initial steps and you're fine, once installed you don't have to do anything else. 2) There is no limit for IP but if for example you put 2 Relays in the same #IP it isn't certain that you will have double rewards, because they basically do the same job, to get more rewards it's better to use different IPs. 3) To make the Relay operational it's necessary to open port 9001 in your Modem. Yk what I love the most about Charlotte? We all know she has a panic disorder right? But she always fights with it and she approaches her fans, talk and touch them, even when she was having crisis from it she tried her best😭she doesn’t lie when she says she doesn’t see fans just as fans. Even in her most recent concert I didn’t get what they were discussing on stage but apparently it involved her getting close to fans and they were hesitating and she said “it’s ok because I took my medicine” we really made the right person famous🫳🏻🤍 Also the way she has all the letters from fans from day one and she read them when she’s sad or feeling down🥹 She’s always on tune with her fans too, she finds my tweets even if I don’t tag or put # on it🤣(not even the people quoting put tags) and she still finds them (Cha give us some space ok?🤣🤣) Jkkk But I love this little human so muchhh, don’t understand how can someone be through so much and still be the same person. I feel like ending things. My family has been the root of my pain, towards myself but also my child. tonight we had the biggest fight and they tried to make me seem like I'm a bad mother because I at times keep my son in my bedroom with me, but it's because of how they treat him. The colorist comments, the way they break down his self-esteem calling him "blou ding", "k#ffer", and more. When I told my mother I'll take legal action against them, she told me that the police will see that I'm crazy. She also threatened me by saying she'll take me to court and say I abuse my child!!!! I don't abuse my child I sometimes yell at him out of frustration cause I'll tell him to stay with me but he'll go to them. He's 5 so he obviously doesn't understand why I don't want him around them. I feel embarrassed for having to come to the internet with my problems, especiially since I've always beem taught to hide the ugly but I can't anymore. 😭😭😭 Someone send help. Whether it's a ngo that can help, a job application, a learnership, anything. I just need to get me and my child out of this household. I'm tired.
