Palestine was never an independent region, zone, entity, which, it was either part of what was known as Greater Syria as a geographic unit, the Ottomans who ruled the region for 400 years did not consider Palestine as a singular entity, but districts and sub districts from Beirut to Damascus, Palestine was nothing before Zionism and the Jews. Palestine, as he has correctly stated, doesn't, and never, existed. 🙂

It was not a country or a nation. The Palestine coin, that is shown was the currency of the British Mandate of Palestine. The area was ruled by the British from 1918 to 1948. Before that is was a part of the Ottoman empire and was not known as Palestine.
