Such a shame this promo was wasted in the pandemic era. Imagine this in front of live fans man. That may have been a promo but god damn he was spitting facts.

I wasn't watching the product at this point because like most of the world I was essentially trying to stay sane. I wasn't emotionally centered enough to enjoy professional wrestling. So I missed a lot of this and looking back at it now feels like a fever dream it's wild man.

Rewatching this just now, this was a really underrated/good promo at the time.

If they were gonna take the belt off Roman before a Cody return it would’ve been this match. Edge was on an insane roll and story and Bryan had found a second wind in the main event scene after returning to the WWE

The trilogy of promos on the go home smackdown was absolutely incredible

Still watch this promo sometimes cuz it's low-key oddly satisfying, this man used to be a demon

I don’t knock Edge for going to AEW. Because it was his choice. However, I can’t lie, I would’ve LOVED to have seen a face Edge vs heel Cena during Cena’s heel run. Could you IMAGINE that? How incredible the promos would’ve been? It just gives me chills.

Compare this to some of the top stars in both the men’s and women’s division (bar cena, drew, and punk) swear we overhype some of the wrestlers in wwe rn. It’s cool to be great in the ring, but being good on the mic takes you further. Also promos that are believable 😭
