Sakuga Over The Years (July 1992) KA: Mitsuo Iso (磯光雄) Movie: Hashire Melos! (走れメロス!) More fantastic character animation from Iso! The sword fight has so much weight to it and it's cool how expressive everyone in the sequence is too. Apparently this is getting another limited screening soon, so here's to hoping it gets a better quality release in the future

アニメ：バーンアップスクランブル【フルボッコ・オフスクリーン腹パン？・踏みつけ・髪引きずり・KO／失神】リオが完全に支配される最高のリョナシーン🤩 今回も頑張ってHD化してみました😏 踏みつけの容赦なさと、気絶したリオを髪を掴んで引きずるあの感じがたまらない😍 ただ戦闘シーンのカットが多すぎるのが惜しい… 腹パンが入る瞬間、ちゃんと見せてくれよ！😩 （たぶん腹パンだよね…？） --- Anime: Burn Up Scramble [Beatdown • Offscreen Belly Punch? • Stomping • Limp Hair Drag • KO/Faint] Rio gets utterly dominated in this amazing ryona scene 🤩 Again, I tried converting it to HD 😏 The brutality of the stomps and the way the villain drags Rio’s limp body up by the hair is irresistible 😍 I just hate how the fight scene keeps cutting so much. Like bro… I wanted see that belly punch land so badly 😩 (At least, I’m pretty sure it was gonna be a belly punch...) #リョナ #ryona

Shooting, aiming, and the animations are all done. Day 17 of speed running to build the GTA 6 with a loop of AI agents. Today's progress: - Shooting feels real now, the hits actually land. - Animations are actually connected, the character moves like a real game instead of a cheap asset. Remember the animation wall from the last two days? We bought a premium pack off Epic, handed it to Claude, and the character finally moves right. The whole on foot half is basically there. What's left for the demo is driving and a multiplayer mode. Aiming to finish the whole thing this week so everyone can actually play it. J A Z I I can't wait to implement driving and see the whole game.

Sakuga Over The Years (May 2015) KA: Toshiyuki Inoue (井上俊之) Movie: Miss Hokusai (百日紅~Miss HOKUSAI~) Another movie from IG’s best animation producer Keiko Matsushita! It reminds me a lot of A Letter to Momo, even though Okiura was only credited for “planning assistance” on this one. Inoue, just like on Wolf Children, is showing that he can animate some of the most aesthetically pleasing snow animation I’ve ever seen coupled with some gorgeous weighty character acting. Even something as small as one of the kids kicking a tree has so much attention to detail put into it. There’s many more good character acting animators than these three, but I kinda consider Okiura, Honda and Inoue to be a trio of some of the OG GOATs for this type of realistic character animation.

But when I went to that concert recently, I realized that the fans watching from the audience are so pretty. I also saw it from the audience's perspective this time, and it was so pretty, but it's definitely different from seeing it from the stage. Seeing it from the stage is like... it's like a movie.
