Thank you for the dozens of kind replies and DMs! I’ve heard from so many people dealing with the exact same thing (particularly men which I find so interesting. It’s hard to talk about!) anyways you’re not alone and I’ll keep sharing lessons and things that’ve helped along the way!

Thanks for sharing Claire! I also have dealt with a panic disorder and frankly PTSD from last panic attacks. Still sensitive to certain things but everytime we put ourselves in situations that were difficult makes it easier moving forward! Takes some courage to post this!

I’ve dealt with my fair share of this too, props to you for working through it and persevering.

I've had 2 panic attacks in my life -- I would not wish them on my worst enemy. I was convinced I was dying. Thank you for sharing your struggles

Good for you, Claire. Panic is not an easy thing to deal with and for a person like yourself in a public position, I can only imagine how the challenge can be even greater some days. Keep at it.

Thanks for sharing your story Claire. It’s good for people to know panic attacks can be overcome and you’re not limited to avoiding triggers for the rest of your life.

You are incredible! I think with panic disorder, far more people have it (on various levels) than people could possibly know . Takes amazing strength to let the world know . 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

You rule, Claire. Thanks for sharing, keep doing great work, you’ve been one of my favorite Golf media members for a year or two, and the golf world is better with you in it!

Great advice, sometimes the only way forward is through. The most life and career development I’ve experienced were from situations where I was outside of my comfort zone. Well done.

❤️ this post. When I had extreme dizziness in my 20s. Everytime I stood up then my body would flood with adrenalin trying to pump the blood to my head better… hell on earth … I feel your pain bro.

What you resist, will persist ……. Don’t try and push any feelings or thoughts away.

What would you consider to be the most importantly thing you did to get over this?
