@iamgurparvesh To add to your wonderful post During the Freedom struggle for India, 4,771 people were hanged, killed or sentenced to Life Imprsnmt. by the British, 3,728 of them were Sikhs. At that time the Sikhs were mere 1.2 %. Not to mention the Sacrifices in 1947, 62, 65 or 71 wars.
